My branch is Computer and Communication engineering. I choose this course due to my interest in coding and computers. There are 200 students in my branch and 80 teachers. Most of the excellent professors are iitians and phds. Our midterms were conducted at the end of September and our end sems start from the end of November.

A lot of companies like Microsoft offer internship opportunities in summer and winter vacations. They also offer internships for first years and give them industry level trainings to perform better in their upcoming years.

Students become eligible for campus placement in the 6th semester. A lot of great companies come for on campus placements such as Microsoft, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, etc. The highest package this year was 55lakhs and the average package is around 16lakhs. 92.9% students got placed in different companies this year. I plan on sitting for on campus placements and getting an above average package.

The fees are a little high as MIT is a private College it is around 20lakhs. There are main two scholarships here at MIT one is for students within rank 1-100 which is 100% scholarship on tuition fees and the other is for students within the 101-5000 rank which is 20% scholarship on tuition fees.

Revels is our annual fest which happens in March and Techtatva is our techfest which happens in October. We have a world-class library which has all the books needed for studies. All the classrooms are well furnished and have centralized air conditioning and projectors. We have a really great sports center called Marena which has everything from a gym to indoor basketball courts, tennis courts, a swimming pool, etc.

We were given basic amenities like almirah, study table, chair, bucket, mug, toiletries, umbrella. Our mess is just beside our hostel and it has above average food. Hostel registration started just after councelling and was available on the online website of MIT. The hostel fees is 1lakh for a double room without ac.

Eligibility of the course is 50% aggregate in 12th class in all the subjects. Application form was available from February of this month and the entrance exam was conducted in two attempts. The application fee was 2000. There are no reservations or benefits at MIT.
