Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I couldn't get anything else, there is 1 teacher for every 15 students. The faculty members are good and qualified but teaching is quite normal. Term exams are every six months and are very easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internships from 5 th semester at Manipal Institute of technology the internship is in winter and summer breaks. And they are usually 2 months long. Companies provide a learning experience for students under internship.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements many companies have visited Manipal and Manipal has a great alumni network last year 10 students received a package of above 30 lakh, and the highest package was 54 LPA 90 % of students got placed due to less number of student intake. After getting my BTech degree I am opting for MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are comparatively high as compared to the average package. The ROI is less but the facilities provided by the college are good. I got a 20% scholarship because my rank was in the top 500 in the Manipal entrance exam.
Campus Life
The best thing about Manipal is campus life. There are two main events held in Manipal, Every year which are revels and the tech fest tech tatva. Revels is conducted in March and tech tatva is conducted in September. The library is good and provides individual and group study halls. The athletic ground provides a place for every sport to play and also there are a lot of student clubs that help improve students.
Hostel Facilities
Different kinds of hostels are available in Manipal. The registration for hostels for first years opens up on the basis of met rank. It's a first come first serve system. AC / Non-AC single /double /triple rooms are available. Different messes are available and students can select them according to their preference.
Admission
I took the Manipal entrance exam. I Scored 180 marks and got 237 ranks and CSE branch in Manipal Institute of Technology you need 60 % aggregate in PCM in class 12 boards to take the met exam. In the met exam, once you go to the next question you can not return to the previous question which should be changed.
