Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was the best for the time. It was the revised syllabus i.e. the updated one. All major new technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence were present in the course. The faculty is very friendly except for some (these ones are always there). Qualified and educated. Terms exams are very easy to pass and easy to score high.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are sufficiently high, companies like SAP Labs and Grappus were up for internship in the BCA course. The stipend depends on the company and the role offered. The internship experience is satisfactory.

Placement Experience

Placements of the campus are one of the best for IPU, although one should not aim for huge packages like 45 lakhs or so. The average package is about 4 LPA with a maximum package of about 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Accenture, Deloitte, and DE Shaw.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is 89000/- as the tuition fees with the overall payable fees go a bit up from 1lakhs. There are no scholarships as of my knowledge. There will be other expenses like CSI fees or events fees that contribute further.

Campus Life

There is a college annual fest and also the IPU fest (the grand fest). The college fest is a bit confined with limited events. Though the IPU main fest is very awesome with sufficient crowd and events along with better organization.

Admission

The admission was based on IPU CET, I secured 14th rank so I got the best college for BCA. The cutoff was till 300 or 400. There were multiple rounds of counseling and then document verification before admission.

A decent college experience with room for improvment

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and covers most of the imortant subjects needed for our feild.It provides a good foundation and helps in understanding the basics clearly. many topics are for real world application can also help in further studies.However the curriculum could be improved by adding more practical sessions real projects and updated industry oriented content. Some subjects feel a bit theoritical so more hands on learning would make cource stronger. The exam schedule is manageable with internal external and internal assessments held at regular intervals. The difficulty level of exam is modrate and we students can perform well with study.Overall curriculam is decent but can become more comprehensive with few updates.

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

I applied for Maharaja Surajmal Institute as it's known as the SRCC of GGSIPU and it has the highest placement packages in comparison to any other Colleges of GGSIPU and it is ranked the top college of GGSIPU so I opted for admission here and no I didn't get rejected from any universities I got admitted to the one I wanted it's just that you require alot of patience and need to be active about the admission forms being out and all. To get admission in the BBA program at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, a student must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks, with English as one of the core, elective, or functional subjects. Admission is primarily conducted through the IPU CET exam held by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. However, students can also be admitted through CUET if their name appears in the merit list and their rank is below 500. Based on the CET or CUET rank, candidates are called for counseling where seats are allotted.
