Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. But the faculty members are not so good. We can say that some of the faculty members are great at their subjects. But some are just posting the time. Factory student ratio is 1:70. Faculties are mostly PhD-qualified or PhD doing students. Exams are conducted 3 times in a semester. 2mid sems and one end sem.

Yes but KURUKSHETRA is great at internship opportunities. Students here get many sumeet and winter interns. That finally led to a good job. Being a first-year student I don't have exact knowledge about stipends and all. But yes internship culture is nice here

Placement Experience

Placements of NIT KURUKSHETRA have been great in the last few years but nowadays recession has hit hard. In the computer engineering department, almost all the students get placed. Especially girls. Agree with getting the degree I am looking forward to a good job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable according to other fancy institutes. And yes there are many opportunities to get scholarships and financial assistance also. One can get internships also from the college for financial aid.

Campus Life

Campus life is really good. The annual fest of NIT KURUKSHETRA which is Confluence lasts four days and it is full of fun and engaging activities. Sports facilities are also good. We have a high-tech gymnasium in our story complex

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are in a moderate condition. They are not so good but it is manageable. Mess food is really really great here in nit kurukshetra. Registration process on hostels is very easy. When we come to college for the first time we get our admission letter that we show to hostel supervisors and they allot us the rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

The admission process to Nit Kurukshetra is not so easy. One has to clear one of the toughest exams in the country which is jee mains. You can get admission here if you score well in jee mains. Every year NTA conducts jee mains. You can find application forms and dates there. There are a lot of benefits of reservation here. State quotas and other caste reservations are very helpful.

A walk through Nit kurukshetra

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Good college for electrical

The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs....Read More
