Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this because I was interested that is why I have chosen a diploma in Mechanical Engineering. There are student ratio is more than 500 to 600 students on our campus. In our college the teaching method is good and the teachers are very friendly to students. There are 6 months of a gap for the semester exam and it's a difficult exam because your exam papers come from the webscte (West Bengal State Council of Technical Education).

Class Size: 135Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Placement Experience

From which semester students become eligible for campus placements in 5 semesters. Flipkart, websol, Zenus Group, Belrise Industries Limited, and many more. The percentage of students getting placements is 95% of get a job. Your plans after getting the degree are to start your own business and find the best company.

Fees and Financial Aid

My Total Fees structure for the diploma course is 1.25 lacs for 3 years. There are state government scholarships. There are very few opportunities to get a good job there, but a lot of companies come to our college. I also got a campus for our solar power plant.

Campus Life

The annual fest is conducted in November and the month fest is conducted in all seasons. You can get your books for your college also and a journal library in our college. You can also play a tournament of cricket, Football, chess, volleyball and many more. There are no social groups.

Hostel Facilities

You can get beds, an almirah, a study table or a cabinet. The meal quality is average. Your registration process for hostel booking includes your fee structure. You also book a PG near the college, there are many PGs near the college.

I am pursuing in diploma there are 3 types of courses for a diploma: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. This college's basic improvement is to good knowledge and good teaching facility.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.
