Honest review on my college: a student's perspective

I chose this course because I've always a interested in computers and their programming since childhood days. There are 60 students and 6 teachers, so the ratio is 1: 10. All the teachers are M.Tech degree holders. There are internal exams and semester exams in our college, some class tests are also conducted surprisingly. If you attend the class regularly you can easily pass all of them.

Tata, Mahindra, Wipro, HCL, etc. Companies give internships to students, and an average of 10000 per month is given to select students. Mainly assistant posts are offered to our students. Besides Internships, some permanent jobs are also offered. Though any project hasn't been done by them.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. There are various companies who visited earlier like Tata, Mahindra, Wipro, HCL, etc. Some get manager posts, some get assistant manager posts, and various higher posts. The highest package was 10 Lakh per annum and the average package was 4-5 Lakh per annum. Almost 70% of students get placement. I wish to complete my B.tech degree while doing any job.

Students have to pay 2200 Rs at the time of admission and semester and other facilities fees which cost around 500 Rs per year. No such fee hike. The students get the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship/National Scholarship if they match the mentioned criteria. Many alumni got on-campus jobs in various engineering companies and some got government jobs too. The package is good almost an average of 1.5Lpa.

There was a fresher welcome ceremony in our college named Freshers 2022. This year an annual fest to be conducted by the college. Plans are going on. There is a library and a reading room for students with a great collection of books. Our college consists of 3 floors and a total of 70 rooms. Annual sports events, cultural programs, and social activities are held each year. There is only a student union run by seniors.

We have to share a single room with 3 more friends. The rooms are big enough to be shared. The daily meal quality is good, rice, daal, mixed veg, and egg/fish are on the daily menu. Chicken is provided once a week. You have to opt for admission in a hostel with the admission to college together.

Firstly you have to pass the Madhyamik exam with at least 35% of marks and you need to clear the JEXPO exam conducted by WBJEE. There is online counseling for the JEXPO exam where you can will to take admission to this college, if your name is shortlisted then you can take admission in offline mode on the college campus. Application fees and application dates will be mentioned in the detailed notification on the website. There are reservations for SC/ST/OBC/TFW candidates as per the Reservation Act of India.
