Course Curriculum Overview

I choose a diploma in civil engineering because I wanted to be a civil engineer and serve in the PWD office as I wanted to be a part of it. The faculty have done their M.Tech. There is 1 lecturer for every 40 students.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Placement Experience

We become eligible for campus placements after 3 years of the college's various opportunities to participate in various internships provided. These internships help us to make a good impact in our CV report.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much about the fee structure of our college but It should be approximately around 20000 for the entire 3 years diploma course. There are many scholarships available in our college like SVMCM and OASIS.

Campus Life

There are many fest and annual functions that occur in our college for students along with faculty. The ongoing fest right now in our college is Samrudhi, it is one of the biggest fests in our college which we enjoy a lot.

Admission

I took admission in Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar Polytechnic college through JEXPO after giving my higher secondary board. The admission process is very easy and it took about only 5 minutes for verification.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is average, from 6 semester you get your job interview. About 60% students are gate they are jobs placements. Yaar maine company visited like HPL, ECL, IOCL attar getting the degree I have no plan.

Placement Experience:

After passing 4th semester L&T, TATA, NIPPON STEEL, JSL, JSW, BRAVO etc Highest package provided is around 8-10 LPA and average package provided is around 4 LPA. Usually and L&T and JSL provides high packages Almost 70-80% of students I'm going to take admission in a BTECH college for persuing Bachelor in Engineering degree

I was sure from the very starting of my preparation for jexpo that I would choose civil as my course.The curriculum was not that much difficult to understand. The theory part of this course is good but through my point of view practical should be more broad in this course.The frequency and the timing of the exam is good and it is in a moderate level

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

I choose this course because I want to learn about computer programming languages and information technology. Here, the college faculty is so good student ratio is perfect. Qualification for this faculty is 2nd pass with a good percentage. Here exams were held on 6 monthly easy to pass.

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Firstly you have to pass the Madhyamik exam with at least 35% of marks and you need to clear the JEXPO exam conducted by WBJEE. There is online counseling for the JEXPO exam where you can will to take admission to this college, if your name is shortlisted then you can take admission in offline mode on the college campus. In west Bengal, Very few colleges provide Metallurgy stream in diploma. Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar polytechnic(ICVP) is one of them. First, you have to apply for the JEXPO entrance exam after completing the 10th/ 12th. The application form will available in any Diploma College or you can apply online. Application fees are almost 500 rs. You have to rank in the Jexpo exam under 10000, to avail of the seat. In ICVP seat reservation is available, for this, you have to pay 500rs. Very nice and exciting college.

After getting a valid rank in jexpo I applied for counseling from there I caught this college and this department, after getting confirmation from the board I had to submit my all documents on a stipulated time period.
