I am very proud to be part of Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar polytechnic college

In west Bengal, Very few colleges provide Metallurgy stream in diploma. Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar polytechnic(ICVP) is one of them. First, you have to apply for the JEXPO entrance exam after completing the 10th/ 12th. The application form will available in any Diploma College or you can apply online. Application fees are almost 500 rs. You have to rank in the Jexpo exam under 10000, to avail of the seat. In ICVP seat reservation is available, for this, you have to pay 500rs. For admission, students are given a specific date to submit documents and verify details. Hostel facility is available for boys and girls both.

We live in the material world. In our surroundings everywhere We can see different types of metal. To know about them, I chose the course. Teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced. They also help with our study. I am very proud to be getting my diploma degree from the ICVP. There are 6th Semester in 3 year's course. Every semester contains two internal exams and a final exam with Viva.

Placement is provided for the students. After completing the 5th-semester various companies are come to the campus to take students. Students are also sent to various companies to give interview for jobs. Teachers are tried to place 90% of students.

A yearly fee is taken for 1 year. Per year the fee is almost 2385 rs and an exam registration is rs 250 is also taken. Some books are required for study, you can buy these books on market. In college library facilities are also available. For OBC, SC/ST caste, stipend os gave worth 8000 per year.

College without fest and social activities is incomplete. Saraswati Puja is held in February month. Biswakarma Puja is also done here. A social function is arranged by students with the help of teachers at the end of winter. Sports are held in the ground.

Hostel facility is available for boy's and girl's both. In one room two students are placed. Almost 1200 rs are taken per year per student. Electricity is available for 24 hours. 1-time tiffin and 2-time meal is given in a day. At the time of admission, hostel form is to be filled out to stay in a hostel.
