Gave the UPTU exam, got a rank of 4638. Since AKGEC is one of the top ranking colleges in UPTU, with a good infrastructure and I got a good branch (CSE), I opted for it.

The faculty is very dedicated. The course structure is same as that specified by UPTU. The industry exposure is wonderful.

The college assists in getting internships. Microsoft MSIT and such courses are available in summers. Infosys recruits get to spend the last semester (8) on Infosys campus with stipend of 10000 rupees a month.

On an average, 100+ companies come for campus placements. The average package is 3.5 lac. The normal written exam followed by interview process is there. Companies like Infosys, Accenture, wipro, and many BPO's come to campus placement.

There is a sporting event, Saksham.A cultural event, VibrationsA technical event, Tech Trishna. The college students and nearby college students come and participate. There are robot challenges, coding etc. Along with cultural and sports events.

The fees is the general UPTU specified fees for private colleges. On an average, per year fees amounts to 1,00,000 rupees a year. Hostel and mess charges are separate. There are single seater and sharing options available for rooms. The prices range from 75,000 to 95,000 depending on the choices. Mess costs are included in it. Not all students get hostel, and there are nearby PG services at the "Sanchi" area near the college that charge around 45,000 a year.

The college does not have any scholarships of its own. But it facilitates availing government scholarships for backward classes.

The gender ratio depends on the branch taken. For example, in CSE branch, the ratio is 1:1. In mechanical branch, the ratio might be at 15:1. Other branches fall in between. Engineering disciplines have a skewed ratio. There are canteens around the college. Not many parties as the management is strict. Most of the college is Hindu. They are reasonably tolerant regarding the diversities.

There is an alumni network for the college. Most alumni work in nearby noida areas, and are helpful regarding project works and provide assistance in procurement of internships.
