A brief description about HIT Haldia

In biotechnology, you get the opportunity to study many fields like ECE, Food, and Chemicals. The faculties are very good, especially HOD. Many of the facilities have P.hd and lab assistants are very helpful. The exam happens over the standard question.

Zifo, Capgemini, advantage, biocart, cognizant and many more. In the 8th semester, you only submit your report no exam is needed. You can get internships from here but not paid, for paid you try yourself.

At 6th semester you can sit for placement. 197 companies are visiting the campus. 1100 students get placement from here. 97% of students get placement. 45 LPA is the highest package & 5.7 LPA is the average package.

The cost is only the course fee. No other extra scholarships are not available for biotech. In placement, you got a job(5-7LPA). If you choose any type of internship NOC is also provided. You can go through any type of internship.

In the month of April, the tech fest occurs (PRAYUKTI) and also Riviera(cultural). Annual Culture Meet(ACM) also happened. Classrooms are very good, in the library, you have books for reading. Many sports event happens.

You can take admission through the entrance exam (WBJEE or JEE) or direct admission. In through entrance exam, you must go through the counseling of those entrances. For direct admission you just contact the college management or any senior, there also are some criteria. In a TFW seat, you only pay the other fees, not the tuition fee.
