Course Curriculum Overview
As a lateral student entering the course when about 70% of the syllabus was completed, I can say that the faulty members and my peers both were very helpful to me and in terms of catching up to my peers, my professors have already provided me with study material and are willing to help me at any given opportunity. The exams are held on time.
Placement Experience
Placement is available for all 4th year students. A lot of companies come to our campus for placements with even mass recruiters. And a lot of students gets placed in a lot of different companies with a lot of opportunity ahead.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am pursuing CSE(AI-ML). The total course fee for my selected trade is about 3.9 lakhs. And hostel fees are about 24000 per year (added that the cost of food is not included). Scholarships are available of all types if you are eligible for it. SVCM scholarships are provided.
Campus Life
The campus has various facilities including a gym which is free for Institute students, two full-size grounds for sports, a library, a medical Center, and even a laundry. As for sports each year two major tournaments are held one for football which is around August and September and one for cricket which is around February. Each department gets its own team to participate and compete for a cup.
Hostel Facilities
As a whole the hostel facilities aren't that good. The meal quality is okay at its best. The hostels are located very close to the campus all are within walking distance. As for rented accommodations are very much available around the Institute. Though the cost of those accommodation are slightly higher the condition of the place is far superior.
Admission
I took the JELET exam and had a ranking of 1749 and I got into this Institute through counseling. The admission process was very smooth and I was able to get admitted with all processes done within a day.
