Detailed review of IIITDM Kancheepuram

I chose this course because it has some good placements. The ratio of boys to girls is very high. Like it's 6:1 6 boys for 1 girl. Our class has 60 boys and 20 girls. Faculty are well qualified and most of them are friendly and supportive. There is no problem regarding faculty. The teaching method is classes from 8-5 and assignments and projects. The exams are somewhat tightly packed with less time for preparation. But the syllabus is less too.

Analog tech TCL Paytm and some other companies with a stipend of 20k at starting and some 4th years do outside internships and college allows them to not attend classes but just write the exams at last. There are some clubs which make projects and go to Competitions and the college provides them with findings and their travel expenses.

From 4th semester afterward at the end of the 3rd year and the start of 4th year, students are eligible for campus placement. No.of companies visited and all the information is provided on the institute website. 2023 highest package was 55lpa and average was 13lpa for cse 11for ece. 97% placements. After btech mtech and PhD courses are also provided here.

The fee structure is different for different categories they can be checked out at the official college website. For general and OBC candidates it would cost around 6lakhs for 4 years for sc/st/PWD it's about 3.5laks for four years. There are also scholarships available and loans and financial assistance are also provided. Internship recommendation will be provided from college but no job is available for btech students for as PhD students can apply for lab TA which gives 12k per month.

Samgatha was the last grand fest conducted in our college and Meraki 2023 was the recent fest conducted as welcome for juniors. All kinds of books are available in the college Library and can be taken around for 1 month. Classrooms have full conditioning ACs and projectors and a mic for the teaching staff so all can hear. Sports meets usually happen regularly in our college as it is a center for sports and all kinds of sports can be played here all the facilities are provided.

The admission process is through jee mains. After the allocation of seats in Jossa provisional admission letter will be given. Registration fees are the same as mentioned in Jossa. Sc/st/PWD students have no payment of tuition fees only hostel fees have to be paid. No improvement is needed in the admission process it is perfect.
