Remarks

One has to write jee-mains and has to qualify the jee-mains for securing admission in the institute. The admission is given to students based only on jee-mains rank. The reservation benefits will be available for the eligible students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty student ratio was quiet good . Most of the faculty completed their Ph.D from IITs. The teaching methods adopted by the faculty are extremely good . The courses were modified and updated based on the industry requirements.

Internships Opportunities

Some of the companies where the students of the institue got internship are amazon , microsoft. The students got internship on both oncampus as well as offcampus. The internships will be provided by the institute as well.

Placement Experience

Students will be eligible for placements from seventh semester onwards. Some of the companies visited the institute are amazon , jio, tekion , gameskraft , juspay.The highest package offered is 1.2 crore. The average package offered for a cse student is around 17 lakhs. The average package offered for a ece student is 11 lakhs. The percentage of students placed in cse is 92 and in ece is 80. After degree i want to become a software developer.

Fees and Financial Aid

The institute fees per semester is 125000 Rs. The hostel fees per semester is 12500 Rs. The mess fees per month is 4000 Rs. There are some banks which will provide loans to the students of the institute who are in need.

Campus Life

The classrooms are equipped with AC and projector. The required books for the course will be available in library. The annual fest is yuvaan. The annual tech-fest is entropy. Some of the clubs in the college are potraiture club , reading club , fine arts club, karlav club, alankrit.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are not so spacious , but the room size will be enough for the students. Every room will consists of two students. The hostel food is not upto the mark, but it is ok. The provided food is hygenic.The registration for the hostels will be done in first semester. The hostel is affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Great college with decent infrastructure and a large campus

Placement Experience:

The placements here are actually decent. The average package for my branch was around 13.5 LPA last year and branches like CSE, EC and EI have a higher average package generally. The campus is visited by almost all of the top companies including Google, Adobe, Facebook, etc. The detailed placement records are available on the website of the institute.The percentage of students getting placed ranges anywhere between 70 percent to 92 percent. I plan to get an M.Tech degree after completing my B.Tech course from an IIT if possible.

Overall good university which offers good internships and placement.

Placement Experience:

Placement percentage is nearly about 75-80%. Usually students get placed in good PSUs, or in tech companies. Other students opt for further studies like mtech or mba. My plans is to mtech as I want to do better jobs than a btech graduate do

Normally from third semester student become eligible campus placements but most usually take placements in fourth semester or fifth semester The percentage of getting placements are about 60% The highest package per company usually was ?80,000 per month and the average is around 20,000 Per month My plan is to get a job of a construction firm for about one year so that I can collect good amount of experience and they will hire me because I am passout from this college because this is one of the most reputed college after one year or two year, I will try for government exams or some private companies like Gautam farm, et cetera

The students who are appearing for the 7th semester end term examination are eligible for the campus placement drive , eligibility varies as per the companies eligibility criteria, main factors are CGPA score of the particular student. There are many companies who visited the campus for placement drive but the main companies who visited for campus placement drive are : NRL( Numoligorh Refinery Limited) ,ONGC( oil natural gas corporation) etc , the highest package offered was 24 lpa by NRL and the offer was got by 8 students and the average package of our college is 7lpa approx

An honest review for NIT silchar with detail analysis.

Placement Experience:

Placement of NIT silchar is pretty good. Average package is around 12 Lpa. Although after corona the placement dropped but still it is good. Many big tech companies visit during placement for full time and internship. Core companies also visits for different roles. During our placement season it happens generally after 7th semester. Generally criteria for sitting in any company varies based on cgpa and sometimes 10th and 12th marks depends on company to company generally it is 6 or 7 or 8 cgpa. Good it companies offer 20-30lpa and lowest offer was 6th lpa.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement student are eligible from 7th sem and for internship whole 3rd year 5th to 6th sem. Highest package till now is 34 lpa i guess in intuit .and lowest 6lpa.I am totally focus into doing job rsther than doing higher studies .Iam placed at Deloitte and i am happy.till now 50 percent students of civil got plsced 80 percent Cse

Review of the college in north east

This college has a good curriculum and also great for going to research side I preferred this over the others I applied because the others had no permanent campus and were very far from home moreover some do not have good research programs .I preferred this college over IIIT pune IIIT kota and vit which gave me a confirmed admission.i got rejected from a few colleges like mnit allahabad IIIT lucknow and IIIT Allahabad because I did not reach its cut off ranks .the admission process is quite simple in my college it is done through jossa councelling of jee .u can get admission through jee mains it is the most preferred exam by the students and for cse branch u have to get above 20000 rank and for ece above 430000 this is for general male...Read More
