IARE

I chose this course because I was driven by data and how the understanding of data would affect real-world scenarios. The faculty are quite educated and experienced in the data science field. The semester-end examinations are conducted after the completion of CIE-1 and CIE-2. The CIE-1 examination is held after 8 weeks after the semester beginning and the CIE-2 is held after another 8 weeks of completion of the CIE-1.

IARE provides in-house internships offered by the faculty members, Science and Technology Start-Up Park(STSP), Technology Innovation and Incubation Center(TIIC), Library, Departments, etc. The college also encourages external internships and field projects.

The placements and training of the students are taken care of by the Career Development Centre (CDC). The students having eligibility criteria are selected for PAT sessions where the students are guided by professionals in various aspects like programming, communication skills, aptitude, etc. General students are eligible for interviews from their 3-2 i.e. 6th semester. The average package is 4.5LPA and the highest package is 29LPA.

During my year of admission in 2021. The annual fee for data science was 90,000. The college provided scholarship merit for students of Rs 35,000. Hence making the annual fee of the course Rs 55,000.

There are various clubs at the IARE college like Edam(Techincal Club of Care), Street Cause(NGO), gdsc (The Google development community), NSS, Pixels (Photography Club), and many more. The classroom has air conditioners, a 55-inch TV for presentations, and PowerPoints. Every academic year Spandana(Annual Day), traditional day, and DJ night are conducted.

I took jee mains and eamcet examinations after my intermediate. I secured a seat for the course Computer Science and Engineering with data science specialization. The cutoff marks to secure a seat in this course are dependent upon the caste. The general cut-off is around 14k and the cut is 4k for data science.
