The Course Curriculum is aligned with today's industry needs. There are 20 to 24 faculty members behind 180 students. Faculties are well qualified 7 to 8 Faculties are Ph.D. holders and others have graduated from top universities. Faculties are cooperative. per semester there are two exams conducted one is an inseam and the other one is a semester exam based full syllabus. The difficulty level of the exam is low to moderate level.

Companies near to Pune are coming for internships having stipend ranging from 5000 to 15000. Companies like the Dassault system, ARAI, and ADM groups. In the final year, Most of the work on Industry offered projects along with their faculty mentor. Students are working on real-world problems.

From the 6th Semester itself, students are eligible for Campus placements. Companies like Siemens Energy, Atlas Copco, Kirloskar Pvt Ltd, and Forbes Marshall are coming for Recruitment. There is the Highest package of 13 lakhs offered by Ansys and the average package is up to 4.5. 70 to 80 percent of students were placed in the Final year. Some students opt to choose higher studies. In college itself I am going for Placements.

We get scholarships by applying for a Mahdbt scholarship. For the general category students, there are 167000 fess. For students who are admitted through OBC, EWS they have to pay 97000 and those who are in the NT category have to pay 25000 to 27000, and the same for TFWS ( Tuition fee Waviur Scheme ). For SC and ST students they have to pay only 4000 to 5000. For the final year student, they get job packages ranging from 3.6 LPA to 13 LPA.

Gandharva is the main annual fest held in Feb. There is a Library for students having all the books. A digital library facility is also there so we can access books and journals online. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, fans, and benches. Every year sports activities are conducted in December along with various competitions and hackathons are also be conducted. There is a Social group like NSS which will organize Blood donation camps, Tree Plantation camps, etc. There are various department-wise clubs are present. For the Mechanical branch, there are Vishwaracers, Baja, and MESA. There are some common clubs like CEC, TEDX VIIT, EDC VIIT, etc.

For admission, we must take the MHT CET exam conducted by the Maharashtra State Government. For admission to VIIT, we have a score of 84 percentile for the General Category. Other category-wise reservations are also there. MHT CET exam was conducted after state board exams. We can take admission by applying the cap round Process.
