Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE because of my interest in the field and the work that I've already put into it and my desire to learn and grow In labs there are around 20-30 students per teacher but in classroom, the ratio is 1:40 All the faculty are really good, most of them being iit graduates Term exams are to be held in about a month

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The cost to study is minimal as compared to other colleges providing the same course. For SC and St students 100% of the fee is returned and for obc, 40% is returned There are other government-funded scholarships and you can get a job at Idea Lab under some phd student easily

Campus Life

ANUGOONJ, the annual fest is held in March InfoXpression, the tech fest is held in October A lot of books are available and we can request ones that are not There are 13 different sports including swimming, basketball, football, baseball, badminton etc IEEE, ACM, SDC software development cell, GDSC Google developer school club, Techspace acm.ipu.ac.in

Admission

It was on the basis of jee mains, the cutoff for general males was 42000 in 3rd round. You had to give jee mains January or April attempt and the registration process for that was different The minimum Aggregate marks required for admission were 55%

The placements are really good for a college like DTU, situated at close proximity to industry hubs like Noida and Gurgaon, Last Season the college placed about 70% of its students with an average of 14 lakhs. and highest of 82.5 lakhs. students from 5th semesters are eligible for Training and placement, with fifth semester getting placed for internships, while 7th semester kids, are eligible to sit for the FTE roles and etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but not best during 2022 to 2024 current year ,I don't know properly but my seniors said that it is due to recession and also it affects IIT BOMBAY. If Recession will go then it has also good placement opportunities if you are skilled. Because DTU provide all branches in tech company if you are skilled in coding. Approx 100+ companies had came in past years .

From 7 th semester students are eligible for campus placements and from 5 th semester they are eligible for internships every one who is going to sit for a placement can get a job highest package is about 2-3cr and average is about 20 lakhs

Placement Experience:

Training and placement cell of our college is really active and provide really great opportunities to the students. Avg placement of circuital branch is over 14 lpa and over all average it is around 8 to 10 lpa.

Remarks:

I choose computer Science because of my interest in the same. The amount of knowledge dissipated to u is the best thing and also having 2-3 practice lab periods really help you make ready for industry. The college can offer internships to their students which would be of great help. There are no. Of opportunities in terms of events technical and non technical that take place.

Remarks:

The only downside of my college is that the hostels doesn't have enough capacity so only 25% are able to get hostels, others have to live in flat/pgs or commute daily and its located in Rohini so most people have to travel a lot to come to the university. There's nothing good around the campus to go to, nearest attraction is nsp or south campus.

The admission process is entirely based on the NIMCET entrance exam. One should achieve a good rank in the NIMCET entrance exam in order to get admission to this college. The eligibility for getting admission in MCA is that you should have math's or computer science in your bachelors and have got at least 55% marks in your bachelors. If I talk about reservations, IPU reserves around 60% of the seats for Delhi students. Review of USICT

The management is extremely slow and 'sarkari' about their jobs, having absolutely 0 respect for students or what the problems they're facing. The WIFI of our hostel has been not working for a full year of some floors, and even after multiple complaints, no action has been taken. There are literally dozens of complaints I can write but I'd rather not, it's too frustrating. 2/10 for management....Read More
