Remarks

Its overall good faculty but to improve some friendly relation with students.

I choose m.com because i have interest in teaching line. preference of this college over other's college is because of its speciality in commerce background.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very interesting ,as it focus on teaching skills of the student. faculty is very helpful and hard working.

Internships Opportunities

Ernst and young had came last year with stipend of around 2.8 lacks per annum.

Only one company had came till now , ernst and young which offered a package of around 2.8 lacks per annum. around 5-6 students of our college are placed by tha company. many other bpo's had came in previous years like ibm etc.

There are lots of cultural festivals in college . youth fest is a very big function.

p.g rate is rs 3500 per bed plus food.

No. till now i don't availed any loan for education.I know about recent vidya laxhmi scheme launched by government.

Success story

Placement Experience:

I am pursuing masters and i got to know that my friends who did bachelor's got their placement even after degree. My plan is to become lecturer and i even got internship in masters second semester which they provides me with proper knowledge of accounts and i also get paid for it. The placements percentage is about 97%,which is extremely good.

College and worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i am interested in commerce thats why i chose bcom hons in management studies due to merit i git admission in that collehe also i was top amongest all colleges under panjab University chandigarh, their was semester wise exams , unit tests , practical exposure also i am pursuing mcom from university itself correspondence as i m also pursuing company secretary. But only bcom hons cannot get me job thats why everbody is doing something like ca , cs , cma proffesional courses or banking , finances etc. College should provide internships opportunities , job placements etc they should do more work on that , only for graduation purposes everybody is doing it.

Remarks:

College is good after all I am studying in this college. Girls Common room is made for the girls. The washrooms are clean and hygienic. The negative is that no clocks and projectors are there in classes.

Overall average experience

I applied for 5 college sd mcm dav gccba 50 and pgcc 11 and i got admission into 2 colleges mcm and gccba 50 . Yes I did apply to other colleges. But this college was my top preference.This is the best college for commerce if you are there to study. No i didn't get any rejection from other colleges.
