Government College of Commerce and Business Administration review by a student there

Likes

the teachers are very attentive , approchable and care about the students
the college is newly built so the infrastructure is very good all facilities are available including the gym
quality education as well as provide overall exposure with cultural clubs

Dislikes

the attendance and the exam criteria of the college
another thing is that canteen is there but quality of food is not too good
stationery not available in the campus and currently hostel facilities are not also there

the gccba 50 chandigarh college provides 100% guaranteed placements in companies like WIPRO , HDFC bank , TCS , godrej , policy bazaar and many more big companies trhe highest package is around 1400000 and many companies make offers to the college and the average packages are around 350000 and i plan to pursue mba from a good institute after completing this degree

cultural activities are good and fests are are arranged
discipline is well maintained in the college

placement are not provided good and only after 3 rd year
infrastructure is not that good can be improved
practical knowledge is not given in the subjects

the cultural part was good of this college and academically also good is this college the real world implications are not taught much except for income tax and accounts the exams are conducted on a 2 month gap

The discipline is properly made and proper records of each student is made
Academic performance of each student is given emphasis

Practical knowledge is not given to students
Can improve infrastructure of the college
Placement packages can be improved by calling more companies

After 5 th semster the students become elgible for placements . The companies that visit are godreg tribune ca firms etc The highest package offered is 3.5 lakhs and average 2.5 lakhs Only 10 percent get placement My plan is to pursue mba

Likes

The teachers are very attentive. They really care about you
The infrastructure is so much better as compared to other colleges.
Activities. You get exposure through activities. There are many clubs both inside and outside which are working in the college

Dislikes

Students not really come to college... So most of time it's peaceful inside the college.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility for campus placements for students is that they should be in the last semester of the last year that is the 6th sem. A lot of companies visit the college during that time. Students go for interviews. The highest package is 3 lakhs for the last year. My plans after the degree is attempting CAT and doing MBA.

First of all i liked about my college is there canteen because the food were really good there
The second thing i liked about my college is there campus

The first thing i disliked about my college is there examination pattern system

The last thing i disliked about my college is overpriced Trip

According to me or we seen at scenario according to our batch students we rate our course curriculum 3.5 out of 5 because the teachers were good but campus and canteen were average and according to exam pattern there is some loop hole.

Likes

I liked the most about the college is that the college is near to my house.

Dislikes

The thing i disliked the more is the behaviour of a professor in my college I won't disclose his name but that is the thing I disliked the most.
The second thing I disliked the most is there was no canteen in the college in first two years duration my course as the course duration was 3 years
The third thing i disliked the most is the college parking was paid. It must be free for the college students and also the prices for parking was very high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was good. This college is best for studies. As the way of teaching by is very good. Also the college faculty was strict that's why students study properly. The study schedule of college was also good.

Likes

I like the way the teachers explain us the topic in a very easy way
I like that the teachers allow everyone to participate in the class
The overall facilities like canteen, washroom is good

Dislikes

the flexibility in studies is not that good
The girl to boys ratio is not that great like there are more boys then girls
The social interaction about the students is not that great

The teachers are supportive and help the students in there work and also encourage them for extra curricular activities
The seniors are friendly the are like our brothers and sisters and also they don't force the junior for any work
Collage provide many workshop with certificate and also helps to improve and create skills.

Dislikes

College has limited seats so cutoff is little bit high
Stationary is not available in this college
Hostel facility is not available but it will be available soon as the new hostel is ready

Placement Experience:

Government College of commerce and business administration sector 50 provide 100% placement .Many reputed companies come like vipro,TCS,HDFC bank, Goodreg come here for recruitment.Highest package is around 1400000 per annum.
