Remarks

In final word I can say that Roorkee institute of technology is average college. locality of college is not very good and also college management is not good.

I get Roorkee institute of technology through AIEEE. I qualified in AIEEE exam and apply for Uttarakhand technical university conciling and get this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My branch is computer science. Faculties are not very good in teaching because there are so many faculties who are just B.tech passed and pursuing m.tech through open university.

Internships Opportunities

Internship experience in RIT is not good, infact very bad. There are very few companies who come for internship and they take test for internship and selected very few.

Placement Experience

Very few companies are come for placements in college. We are going for placement in other colleges like poll campus. Only 20% students are placed from our class. Avg salary 8000-10000 per month just.

College Events

Cultural festival management are very good in college. In every year there are 2 festivals in college but college focused in cultural not technical.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are so many scholarship available in rit but these scholarship is available for only sc/st candidates. loan facility is available in Roorkee institute of technology.

Campus Life

Campus life is good in RIT. College campus is fully enabled with wifi. labs are good but lab classes is very few. Robotics class occurs once in month. Sports game comes time to time.

Hostel Facilities

RIT has very good hostel rooms in hostel is very neat and clean. Bathroom was also clean. Fully wifi enabled hostel. Mess food in RIT hostel is averged.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

When I came in Roorkee institute of technology, My seniors are good and helpful. Ragging is not allowed in Roorkee institute of technology.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.
