Remarks

The management doesn't work good college is good but can be better we have a very good infrastructure and can be utilized by making studies and management profound. The institute of law has to work independently from management and hold their ground in so

Entrance Preview

The entrance examination which is to be taken is CLAT by this, one gets eligible to enter into a law school depending on the score each college requires. I scored a total of 98 out of 200 and to be honest it was the best college according to my score which was not so good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is properly designed and articulated it is very pivotal for every college to have a proper structured course and this course being a 5 year integrated course, it becomes significant to cover the wide arena of this subject. The courses which a law student has to go to is very wide and to cover every horizon is very important it also provides us with the research papers and writings which broadens the concept and the understanding of the same thus the course curriculum is very proficient and adroit.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, every law college has to provide an internship opportunity and our college also does that every semester, we are to take this opportunity and go to firms, advocates etc as legal intern. We are given a form to be taken to the place we will be interning we also have to submit our weekly reports as to what cases and files we read in brief and work done stipend depends on the firms or advocates and the overall experience is really astounding.

Placement Experience

3

Placement and job opportunities are less and limited as many students are regional, they get a good chance to work in their city but other majority students work majorly in Delhi and Mumbai to sit in placements, one has to pay a sum of around 5000 INR and there is not such package or companies which will attract this area.

College Events

3

We have a lot of events celebrated in our college the law dept celebrates the law day and other events, one of them being VIBES, held every year we get a huge crowd from all over India ad we have dance, sports, cultural night and fashion show also other technical events such as ROBOCON etc are being organised. Cultural days, Moot courts, seminars etc are also being organised and college being in Gujarat, Garba becomes very important.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is ok it is neither too cheap or too expensive for different batches, they have different fee structure me being the student of batch 2016 have 55,000 INR as fee per semester including the tuition fee of 50,000 INR and 2,500 as student activity fees and 2,500 as for semester end examination, mid semester examination and the initial registration and semester grade report other batch students have different fee structure. For NRI and Gulf students, they have different fee structure, the activity fees and other fees remains the same, only the tuition fee varies also the bus facility is provided by the college, the fee for which ranges from 6000 INR to 7000 INR depending upon the place one resides in.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio is almost equal student parties are not celebrated or funded by college so we have no dorm parties we have workshops like seminars for students, faculties, advocates, moot courts, BCI moot courts etc when entering into college, every student has to fill a form for anti ragging and also get it attested and certified via legal document it says that if any case of ragging is brought against one than he/she can be removed from college also we have a anti ragging committee which take care of these cases sports events are carried out in form of inter institute events and we have basketball, volley ball, football, cricket, badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis and gym facility.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has no designed format to conduct alumni, so we don't get any chance to communicate or interact with senior students.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very well organised and structured we are to give exam at the middle of every semester called the Mid semester examinations, we also have the TA (term assignments) going regularly and also the submissions of the projects, seminar paper,

Faculty

3.5

For this, I will be having a dissenting view when I entered the college in 2011, the institute had a very gentle and experienced faculty, but we have just educated faculty to go by the rules and procedures is good but to a certain limit only the engraved

Placement Experience:

Our campus placements start from 4th year and like by the end of 5th year, most students are placed. Many corporate firms and with Gift City setting up most jobs were offered in the GIFT CITY. Even almost all the top law firms also have their branches in Ahmedabad and so that is where placements are done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the major reasons why I chose this course was that this was very unique , bsc in data science along with LLB is very new in the market, although it has it's own drawbacks, in the real world, there is not much demand for technocrat lawyers right now but with time this will increase. The major improvement would be the inclusion of other fields of law like IP, arbitration etc. There are three components for exams, one is mid sems which is held in the starting two months of the semester and after two months is the end sems. The semester are pretty short which is why we get time for internships and which provides us very nice exposure for real-world.

Placement Experience:

After 4th year, students are eligible to sit for placements. Some students also receive a pre-placement offer in the 4th year itself. The students are first prepared for day zero, i.e., placement day, beforehand by conducting a mock interview, which is a voluntary session conducted by the placement committee. CV Vetting workshops are also conducted in the eighth semester because at the end of the 8th semester, the placements are made where tier-1 companies like Khaitan, AZB Partners, CAM, SAM, Trilegal, etc. In-house firms like Adani, ICICI Bank, Tata, and more come for recruiting students. Some students sit for placement; others who want to prepare for government exams like judiciary, UPSC, Public Prosecutor, etc. refrain from sitting in placements.

In a law firm, there are no placements you have to get knowledge and then you can go to practice under any lawyer whichever you want and then you can do an internship in under of that lawyer. And you can stay in your own firm also. My plans for after passed out to practice under a very prestigious lawyer and get experience.
