Remarks

College is specialised for Computer, IT and E&tc branch.Other branches are not in this college. College overall is very good. Infrastructure is not good and small campus however college placement and education is very good.

I have completed my diploma and got 84%. I got good marks so on the basis of that marks I got admission in PICT for direct second year.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum I have selected is Computer Engineering. Staff always focus on practicals and that's the reason today I am good in programming. College focus on research initiative nowadays in RFID technology.

Internships Opportunities

College has a good internship opportunities. Many companies visited for internship. Theu given 5000 Rs. Stipend. I have 6 months experience about that and it is good experience.

Placement Experience

Placement for all branches is 90-100% in PICT. 90% students got placed every year. Major companies like EQ technologies and Semantec are visited. They offer good package. I got placed in my last year in EQ technologies with 6 lpa.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College is a well reputed orgabization so fee is also high. Total fee is 1, 5000 for OPEN while 56000 for OBC. Other category students pay only 10000 fee per year.

Exam curriculum is theory pattern exam and labs are good.

Faculty of PICT college is very talented. They are strict and maintain discipline. As attendance is compulsory in this college, staff is very careful about that so that students attend all lectures and practicals regularly. Staff is interactive and almost all teaching staff is ME graduate. Teaching method is also good.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
