Likes

Patient load is very good in the wards. Teachers are eager to teach genuinely.
Lobelia the fest is grand. Very excited to celebrate the fest every year.
The senior junior relationship is quite healthy.

Dislikes

Some cleanliness issues in wards. Regular cleaning required.
Water clogs in the campus ,if it rains heavily.
Cut off for admission in rg kar was very high and getting higher.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mbbs is a dream for all biology students. The faculty-to-student ratio is healthy. There are abundant faculties. The teaching method is good, to be honest. Exams are timely and frequent. Exams are not that easy. Quite difficult to pass.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In internships, the government gives stipends to all doctors. The amount of the stipend is around 25k per month, which is sufficient. We have to serve daily duties inwards. Internship is the main time for hand-to-hand experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 9000. The Fee hikes are rare, and good for students. The cost to study is very less compared to other colleges. There are also scholarship opportunities. In internships, doctors also get a stipend. Housestaffship jobs are also given.

Campus Life

Lobelia is the fest and happens every September. The library is good and books are available. Sports tournaments occur every year. Tt, carrom, gym, music room everything is there in college. There are many cultural clubs for singing and dancing.

Admission

I cracked the NEET examination for admission to my college RG Kar. In 2020 cutoff for admission in rg kar was approximately 610( ur). Application forms, fees, and dates were provided by the college authority. No improvement is needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite well maintained till 3rd year but the final year syllabus is too vast to complete within 1 year. I feel duration has to be increased a bit. The process of acquiring knowledge entirely depends on the individual pursuing this course as there is no spoonfeeding as in other courses.

Best medical College in west bengal

Placement Experience:

If you can pass the exam that is very tough to pass if you're not serious at all, you'll be able enough to get into any nursing home or you can start treating people staring your own clinic. After 4.5 years you get the internship program that is mandatory to do for all where you get a salary of 32000 per month which is highest among all states . If you manage to be in the top 100 students of the batch of 250 you get one year job in the same hospital with a fees of 50000 and just 48 hours duty per week. If you do nursing home you can get around 70-90k per month based on how much you spent time on work .

Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB.
