- The campus is very peaceful and green so it provide a decent environment for working and studies.
- Sports facilities are very good and provide proper opportunities and training for the interested students.
- The clubs and societies provide a lot of opportunities for extracurricular activities and a lot of work experience.
Dislikes
- The mess food is not so good it is just for surviving.
- The classes schedule is so hectic as some of the days in week you have classes from 8:30 am to 6pm.
- There is in time restrictions for girls i.e. 8:30pm.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for BTech because I was passionate about new technologies and wanted to explore the domain of automobiles. There is a very good student-faculty ratio which provides students with personal assistance from the professors. Teachers are well qualified some of them have experience more than our age (20+ years). The mid-semester exams are conducted in 2 phases 15 marks each You have to just score 6 marks out of 30 to pass and the end-term exams contain 50 marks out of which 20 are enough to pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
Students are provided with proper internship opportunities Many known companies visit campus for on-campus internships such as Microsoft, and Google, and provide near about 1 lakh per month in hand stipend there are many companies for core internships such as Maruti and Ford. The students who are not interested or did not get internships can do projects under the guidance of professors.
Placement Experience
Form 7th sem students are eligible for the placements a lot of companies visit campus for on-campus placement and provide a lot of opportunities on the basis of their skillset the average package is near 9lpa and the highest package was 1.25Cr the lowest package offered was about 5lpa the percentage package offered was near about 90 percent I mechanical engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is charged according to your income. There is a relaxation in fees according to income criteria. Students have income less than 1 lakh are charged 0 rupees as tuition fees, students having income between 1 lakh to 5 lakhs are charged nearly about 18k per sem as tuition fee and students having income more than 5 lakhs have to pay 80k per sem as tutin fees. Many scholarships are provided by my college and the college also provides information about government scholarships timely.
Campus Life
Tech feat is called Techspardha mainly held in January and the cultural fest is confluence which is held in October Apart from this there is CITUS a sports fest and Utkarsh a poetry and literature fest. Books and journals of every type are available in the library. The sports ground is well equipped with all sports equipment. There are a lot of technical and cultural clubs and societies for students' extracurricular growth.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are decent not so small and so so spacious In 1st year there are triple seater rooms after then single seater rooms are provided. Meals are good enough because the mess menu is decided by students. Registration for the hotel starts after the allotment of the roll number slip and quite easy to register for a hostel.
Admission
Eligibility criteria for the courses offered here are the score of jee mains in jee mains more than 12 lakh people applied for the course out of which only 28k were able to make it to NIT. The reservations are applicable for OBC, EWS, SC, and ST and there are also some seats reserved for girls only to maintain the ratio of girls and provide them with opportunities in engineering. The admission process was very simple candidates had to come with original documents and after verification, id cards were issued to them.
