I opted for this particular course due to my keen interest in chemistry. Additionally, it stand out as a relatively smoother and more serene option compared to the other courses available within the B Tech curriculum. At IIT-Bombay, the student faculty ratio is maintained at 14:1. the faculty members are extensively knowledgeable, possessing a minimum of a decade's worth of post-Ph.D. teaching, research, or professional experience, with a stipulation that at least 4 years should be spent at the associate professor level in IITs. the terms examinations were conducted punctually, and passing them wasn't overly challenging for those who consistently attended classes and conscientiously revised the material taught during lectures.

the internship season start during the 3rd semester mid. the placement cell ask for your resume and you can apply for the company on the basis of your skills and criteria. there are several companies, in second year there are very less companies and not much people from second year are placed through the placement cell but in third year comparitively a large amount of students are placed and the stipened is also much more higher.

from the 7th semester people are eligible for campus placement. there are more than 100+ companies and 500+ offers so to give a exact number is difficult. the highest package last year was around 4 Cr and average is around 20 LPA. the exact stats are never released by IIT bomay officialy so it can vary. my plans is to secure a job in software or quant.

The cost of study depends on the category of student. for a general candidate, per semester fees is around 1.5 lakh . there are multiple scholarship and financial assitance given by institute. ther is fees remission based on family income. there are also also scholarship based on academic excellence MCM scholarship. there is one more scholarship (named scholarship). ther is no stipened for UG students until and unless you are doing any research under a prof

The annual fest is mood Indigo and technical fest is TechFest both of these are conducted during the month of December. Most of the books and journals are available in library from each and every domain possible. The amenities in classroom are power plug and free wifi. Every soprts activity is available and with the world class fascility. There are also many clubs available such as Insync (for Dance), Symphony ( for music), Pixel (for photography), Rang (for arts) etc.

the room only has basic amenities. lights,fans,ethernet port and bed is provided rest all thing the resident has to bring. the mess food quality is decent. the menu of mess changes every week. the hostel registration is done during the admission time and it's charge is already included in the main fees.

the sole method to secure admission to this course and institution entails succesfully passing the entrance the JEE entrance exam. the initial step is JEE mains, which opens the door to various uuniversities and colleges. However, for entering into the prestigious IITs, clearing the JEE advance is imperative. the application forms are generally available around december, offering two opportunities for JEE mains. subsequently following both of these attempts, the JEE advance forms are issued. The cost of JEE main application form is set at Rs. 1000 for male candidate falling under the unreserved/Gen-EWS/OBC category,Rs. 800 for female candidate in the same category, and Rs. 500 for candidate belonging to the SC/ST/PwD/Transgender categories. Menawhile for the JEE advanced, the fee structure stand as follows: female candidate (all category) 1450, SC/ST/PwD 1450, all other candidate 2900. As an OBC candidate, the benefit comes only during the branch allotment process based on your rank.
