There are no curfew timings, we can enter exit the campus anytime.
There are canteens available till 4am, with reduced prices.

Course Curriculum Overview

The student-faculty ratio is decent given the size of the total batch. We have lectures, taken up by senior faculties, then we have teaching assistants in doubt sessions to help us cope with the class. Exams are timely and not very difficult to pass if concepts are clear. There is less mugging up

Internships Opportunities

Many internships are available from 3rd year onwards. One with a course in science can get internships in a finance or software company, based upon his interest, on recommendation of the club he joins.

Placement Experience

Placements are one of the best in India. More than 200 companies visit the campus from packages ranging from 20LPA to 3.5cr per annum in foreign countries. The highest domestic packages are around 50LPA. almost 90percent of people get placed

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees are quite low compared to private colleges but are on the upper side when compared to other goverment colleges. But the benefit is seen in the investment-reward ratio, the value of the degree is quite high.

Campus Life

The social life here is quite good. we have all the amenities. Football turfs, badminton, squash, tennis, kho kho, volleyball, basketball and all other sports are available with a world-class gym. There are a large number of clubs like finance, literature, dance etc

Admission

To join this college, we have to qualify for the JEE ADVANCED examination, if we successfully get the required rank we can freeze our seats. The courses are given preference-wise, the one with a better rank gets to choose what he/she wants. To be eligible for the JEE ADVANCED examination we have to qualify the cutoff for jee mains examination which is given by over 1200000 candidates across India.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like biology very much. So I chose biology major as per curriculum. Because of The faculty members are very nice. And their natures are very nice. It is also good that they teach very well. Interships are provided in many types of courses. A professor does not fail by one mark in college.

Placement Experience:

As there was placement in the year 2021 which is nearly 56 percent. Around 20 companies visited campus like TCS, AKASH, CIPLA etc. for placement. But most of student do not like placement becuase they have their plan about research so they do phd and post doc in their career which they think best according to their opinion. But in 2021 the avg. package was 8 lpa and each participant have 2 offer. Also the highest package is 13 lpa, which is very nice as compare. but the main reson is research that's why placement is not so higher.

Economics at IIT Bombay

Placement Experience:

It's IIT Bombay so placements are good enough. A lot of companies visit here giving various positions. In the first semester of final year placements happen and it is also easy to get job outside also. Most of the package fall between 9 to 16 lakhs. Mean package of 2024 batch is around 16 lakhs

IIT BOMBAY Dream of a millon

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible for campus placements from their 7th semester. Everyday company that you can think of is there in IIT Bombay and there are some companies that only with IIT Bombay in India. The highest package goes around 4 crores and the average package is around 25 lakhs. Almost everyone who applies for placements is placed and a few students wait for higher studies and some prepare for management exams and some of them prepare for government exams so all the students do not sit for placements.

One of the best Technical Institute in India

There is only one way you can make your way to IITs in B.Tech program and that is through JEE. First, you have to give and clear JEE Mains and after that, you have to sit for JEE advanced and then after clearing it, you will get your college and branch according to your rank and preferences. Peaceful place in this chaotic world

I gave two exams, JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCED. You have to be among 1500 students overall in India to secure a seat at IIT Bombay. I was 533 in OBC so I got B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Bombay. JEE exams are after the 12th boards and forms come around August month. The admission process is governed by JOSAA. There is no "Maje hi maje" after cracking JEE the real life starts now

The admission exam needs to clear are JEE Mains + JEE Advanced First, you have to give JEE Mains conducted by NTA and you have to score more than 15% to be eligible for the JEE Advanced ( there would be individual subjects cut off too which may vary yearly) Then you have to give JEE Advanced conducted by IITs The application form will be available on the NTA website for JEE Mains and for JEE Advanced the IIT which is conducting it that year will have a website and you can apply there There are a certain number of seats given to reservations based on the institute capacity you can check those on the JoSAA website during your counselling time Improvement in the admission process - I would prefer students to take decisions carefully about the department they are going to select, rather than following the herd mentality and choosing CSE over others they should thoroughly research and make a decision...Read More
