Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is a very prestigious and respected profession in society and my passion for studying medicine is the main reason for choosing MBBS as my career. I am currently pursuing an MBBS from R.G.KAR Medical College, The faculties here teach us very judiciously and have many qualifications, the ratio of faculty: to student =1:10. Term exams occur here every three months, and is the paper level is moderate to test the ability of students.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship takes place in our college, interns are provided a good stipend of nearly Rs 30000. Other places where internships can be done are Baghbazar Amdanga etc. The internship is really vigorous and helps us to apply the knowledge we studied in our MBBS days to treat the patients.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee per semester at R.G.Kar Medical College is 4500 which is pretty much less compared to other colleges. This is a benefit which we avail from the West Bengal Government. People from economically weaker sections can easily avail other benefits as well.

Campus Life

Life in R.G. Kar is really very enjoyable. The annual fest LOBELIA is one of the biggest fests with 100+ events in the history of medical fests. It takes place nearly before the Durga Puja and we all create a lot of memories. A lot of renowned artists come here. Apart from this THERAPEUO, the annual medfest takes place here from where we learn a lot from workshops and the lecture sessions. The classrooms here are well-equipped. Intra and inter-college Sports events take place. Above all, we enjoy it a lot in college.

R.G kar medical College is a renowned college for studying Medicine. eligibility for studying MBBS is through getting the cutoff marks for the college in neet ug and 10th and 12th pass. The application form for neet ug is available on www.nta.nic.in and fee is rupees 1500.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite well maintained till 3rd year but the final year syllabus is too vast to complete within 1 year. I feel duration has to be increased a bit. The process of acquiring knowledge entirely depends on the individual pursuing this course as there is no spoonfeeding as in other courses.

Best medical College in west bengal

Placement Experience:

If you can pass the exam that is very tough to pass if you're not serious at all, you'll be able enough to get into any nursing home or you can start treating people staring your own clinic. After 4.5 years you get the internship program that is mandatory to do for all where you get a salary of 32000 per month which is highest among all states . If you manage to be in the top 100 students of the batch of 250 you get one year job in the same hospital with a fees of 50000 and just 48 hours duty per week. If you do nursing home you can get around 70-90k per month based on how much you spent time on work .

Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB.
