Environment of campus is quite soothing and there is greenery everywhere.it gives positive energy.
Education system is good classes are regular and teachers are so cooperative

Location of the college is far from main city it is around 2 km away
Patient flow is not as expected.Clinical expsore is less
Hostel timmings are till 9 for girls which sometimes cause problems

The medical profession is considered a noble profession. From my childhood, I wanted to become a doctor. The faculty-student ratio is quite good. Well-qualified faculties. Exams happen every 3 months finals are once a year. As the course is lengthy it requires daily study.

Internships Opportunities

The college has its hospital where the internship is offered. The stipend is less but clinical exposure at the time of the internship is good. Many students from this college are working in well-reputed hospitals after completing their UG.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure is 994406 excluding the hostel and mess. No hidden charges. 45000 fee is extra for e-curricular activities. There are scholarships for Karnataka students. We can take education loans for study. The stipend is given at the time of the internship.

Campus Life

The annual fest name is SAMRUH, other sports fest, Gajakarnotsava, guru Vandana, etc. The library is well equipped with books one can issue books from there only. student-friendly library. Almost all author books are available for all subjects. The classroom is installed with projectors. With the proper environment of study. The college encourages sports and extracurricular activities. There is a basketball, and badminton court along with ground for football and cricket. Indoor games are available on campus.

Hostel Facilities

There is a separate hostel for girls and boys. To maintain ragging ragging-free campus hostel for 1st year is seperate. The hostel facilities are good and the staff is so cooperative. The meal is ok. One can survive. Registration for hostel can be done at the time of reporting only. One can live in PG also the locality is quite good.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

NEET qualification is a must. You should apply for kea counseling. Along with that, you should have at least 475+ marks to get into this college for a given fee. There is no reservation for non-Karnataka students.

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.

• I applied for all the colleges and according to the marks and ranking Shridevi medical College was allocated to me. • I didn't prioritise this college in any means. • yes I applied for all top colleges in Karnataka but due to low marks and rank I was not allotted to that college. • Admission process is through NEET.
