Faculty members are very helpful and very polite also.
There is a grand Central library in our college which is really helpful for our studies
Campus of our college is really nice and environmental effect is also good.

Dislikes

Did not get proper time for semester examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course it has a great demand in future and interesting as well. I also like technology. The ratio between faculty and students and students is much more similar. Our faculty members are from highly different institutions like Jadavpur, Heritage etc. Term exams are held two times per semester and semester exams are much easier than expected.

Class Size: 213Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6 th semester students become eligible for Placement and job opportunities are available for each student. Every year almost 80% of students got placed with lower to higher package ratios. Companies like tcs, IBM, Wipro, merchant navy, many steel plants and many more are coming. The highest package is around 20Lakhs and the lowest package is 6Lakhs. My plan is to continue MTech.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of all branches are the same around 3.84lakh and per semester around 48000. The scholarship is only valid for those who live in Bengal. swami Vivekananda scholarship is offered by our college every year college itself provides us scholarships with a better rank in classes 10 and 12. Yes, 90% of students got on campus.

Campus Life

There is a grand event called Magnus every year. In Magnus, there are different types of sports and cultural programmes. Campus Life is really wonderful. The campus is well maintained, green, clean, and ragging-free, with a 24-hour security system with CCTV on campus. In-campus playground, Swimming Pool, Gymnasium, Indoor Games facilities. free Wi-Fi facility is also provided. hostel facilities, good infrastructures. In the library, there are many types of updated journals and various types of books are available in our library. Coders Club is a type of social group that is run by students.

I am in cse core of Budge Budge Institute of Technology. I got the application form the college itself. There is a specific date and time issued by our college. There is an improvement from the previous year.

Unbiased Review of JGEC

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. Ok taking account of these exam ranks you can take admission into this college and the average rank for CSE branch by WBJEE is under 20-25k.
