Likes

CIT grooms students to inculcate a flexible and adaptable nature so they are well prepared for the corporate world by the time they leave the portals of the institute. With good discipline and give respect.
Around 50% of students get placed on campus. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA
The quality of the food is average. The infrastructure of our college is simple. Good food is served in the mess.

Dislikes

Hostel is not clean and neat . Canteen food id not good
They r giving proper placement training. All students gettkng placed in their own intrest
Placement dates are properly announced they will announce one or two days before.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen civil engineering completely my own intrest. The student to faculty ratio is great. The industrial visit will be arranged . Additional courses wil be also conducted. All.the teachers are poat graduated and the teaching method are fabulous. The exams will be quite difficult the question paper will be tough and pass percentage will be ok.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 27900 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible to attend placements only in final year. Companies for civil like L&T , shoba , etc they will offer 2 or 3 seats.package will be 100000pr year. The students percentage of getting placement are less .my plan is to study for government exams and get posting in government.

Fees and Financial Aid

It will be around 100000 to complete our engineering graduate. CIT Colleges participates in and encourages students to avail of external scholarship grants. They doesnot provide campus jobs and stipend for engineering students

Campus Life

They conduct annual fest like MELINIA 2023 national level technical symposium. They r many level of books available in library all will be with good standards. Extra cirrixular activities like NSS NCC footbal volleybal are done with percent coaches.

Admission

A pass in HSC with maths physics and chemistry. 10% reservation for economically weeker section above the intake capacity shall be permissible for admission. Coming to Application fees , form are displayed in college website.

Time and Future

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.
