Remarks

Very good college with awesome campus. I really wish i doesnot lose its very knowledgebale and experienced faculty for one reason or the other. Also hope very energetic knowledgeable and enthusiastic faculty replace the existing ones. And the students sho

Entrance Preview

None entrance exam. I was destined to be in that college. I changed the stream from science to arts and it was challenge for me to get admission and to score well.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My specialization was in Economics for third year. And History and Commerece were my additional subject for FY and SY along with Eco. My favorite subject was Macro Economics.

Internships Opportunities

Few came but none were for the Arts faculty. The companies concentrated mainly on management students and henceforth other faculty students felt neglected some times.

Placement Experience

1

Not great. Infact in 2010 on 4-5 peolpe from commerce stream were given campus placement

College Events

3.5

Utkarsh is our college feat. Then in Navratri there is Garba and Dandiya. And on few occasions there is DJ too. And Rose Day Friendships Day Red Day Chocolate Day and what not day's are celebrated in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure for BA was well feasible that time i would say. Dont knows whats the fee today. I felt jealous sometimes as the female students were given concession for no reason as they too were have same financial background as i had

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships were given to SC/ST and other Backward class students. I felt bad sometimes as some students from backward class were from good financial background and yet they were eligible for Scholarship, but i was not as i was from Open category. Caste based scholarships and concession is a Outdated concept today and needs to be replaced with Income based concessions.

Campus Life

3.5

Sports was never ending event there. Cricket and Volley ball are famous in students. But the encouragement required to participate in competition was not provided by the college. Infact the Sports teacher was seen once in a bluemoon in 5-6 months. And students of his favour were only selected. Sports Equipment were very few and in pathetic condition. mostly students brought their own equipment and played for leisure and not for representing college.

Hostel Facilities

4

No hostels but the canteen was really good and affordavle. But i notices that as years grew from 2008 to 2010 the canteen rates also grew. Samosa Paav which was of 5 Rs in Canteen in 2008 grew to Rs 10 in 2010. But yet clean hygenic and tasty food all tim

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni students frequently used to visit the college. they shared their experience their knowledge and guided us for better future planning. our history HOD Neeta Khandpekar was very keen and enthusiastic in calling alumni students as they had first hand experience which could help us draw our future roadmap.

Exam Structure

Exams were in half yearly based model. 50 marks in both halves. Combined we need to score 35/100. And TY was University exam. That was good exam pattern as compared to 6 sems in 3years as it reduces the final score if student performs poorly in any of the

Faculty

Very good. Very Supportive. The HOD of Economics and History were really great. Always pushed me to take part in competition and take part in extra cirricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's good, it's fun and I enjoy it. It changes every sem and that's why we also get to explore more of the subjects. It also depends on the professor tho. First year is to chose 6 different subjects and explore. Then second year you get to choose one major and two minors. Major are then divided into 3 parts, the 2 minor subject are elaborated and one compulsory subject which is English, this continues for third year. There are 2-3 additional subjects that change every sem too like PE, EVS, etc.
