Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are very helpful but there is a shortage of teachers nowadays. Teachers are well qualified. Exams are conducted by Makaut. Only CAs(1-3) and PCAs exams are conducted by the college. It's not difficult to pass the exams

Internships Opportunities

No idea of colleges giving internships to students but students can apply for internships as they like and colleges approve for internships. Sometimes colleges organise hackathons and prototype competitions for students.

Placement Experience

From 6-7 th semester students can apply for the placement. Some of the company that visited is Flipkart, TATA, and Skipper. The highest package is 7 LPA in 2023. As almost 40 per cent of students are job candidates the placement percentage is low.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is low, students can get Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship easily and they can pay their fees. This college is very helpful for Job candidates. If students can't pay their fees at once they can divide the money and pay 2 to 3 times throughout the semester.

Campus Life

There are not many events are going on only fresher, farewell and teachers' day events happen. There is a problem with books as new books are not available in the library. The coding club and media cultural club are available here.

Admission

Students need to secure rank in WBJEE or JEE mains exams but there is also direct admission available with a low fees structure. I got direct admission although I had given WBJEE. Anyone can come to college and get admission or you can check the official website for more details

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
