College campus is quite large.As well as transportation services are also available .
Faculty of the college is helpful , knowledgeable and frank with students they also help us in project works.
Placement facilities are also good . College calls for on campus interviews as well as pool campusing

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike about college. But would like if there are hostels for girls students also

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose B.tech in Computer science as my domain , as I have interest in computer.After getting admitted in college I found faculty members very helpful and knowledgeable. Our class has 90 students in total faculty and student ratio is (7:10).We have assessment exams in every month and semester exams according to university rountine. Faculty members are highly qualified and they teach very well.Term exam goes according to MAKAUT schedules, as teachers teach very finely so passing term exams are easy if students pay a bit more attention in class.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 270000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees goes maximum upto 4.5 lacs ,but there are many scholarships awarded to students from college side according to their performance in higher secondary results . Apart from this college also provides scholarship according to students academic performance. Students can also apply for government scholarships like SVCM scholarship .

Campus Life

Annual fest or basically the tech fest is concluded mainly after the end sem in January.All the books are available in Libra according to the needs of students and if the book is not present then we can ask librarian to bring those books.We have smart classrooms. Inter college sports tournament occurs in our college and apart from this sports week is also oraganised by college.There are many clubs in college according to students interest like cultural club, technical club , sports club and dance club.

Admission

Eligibility Criteria for admission is certificate of qualifying any of the technical entrance exam.Student should qualify high school from science stream. Information regarding course fees and courses are available in official website of Seacom Engineering College. Admission process is quite smooth in the college , admission department of the college is quite helpful.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

One of the best dairy technology colleges

Almost 100% of the students can get placements if they study well and learn well. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college are Amul, Mother Dairy, Red Cow, Metro, ITC, Thackers, TCS etc. Students can get various types of jobs like dairy development officer, dairy technologist, farm manager etc.
