Likes

Good surroundings or environment the college is located between two metro stations.
Faculty are really really good they focus on skills rather then completing the syllabus.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is bit out dated but its not too old.
There is only 1 sports teacher in the whole college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose BCA because I love computer science. The faculty-student ratio is quite good, A single class consists of a maximum of 60 students only. The faculty are highly qualified they have really good teaching experience. Most of the teacher uses the smart board to teach student, The teacher make their own Study notes in a simpler way to teach students. They always focus on students' skills rather than completing the syllabus.

Internships Opportunities

There are paid and unpaid internships. The college provides information on both of them. Roles like software engineer, Web developer, and Digital marketer are some basic roles that are offered. These internships help the student to know about corporate life and give him exposure to corporate.

Placement Experience

After completion of the second year(4semester) the students are eligible for campus placement. Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Adobe are some famous companies that visit the college. The highest package is around 17-18lakh in bca and the average is 4 lakh. There is a 100% rate of placement in the college. My future plan is to go for a master's.

Fees and Financial Aid

My course is for three years. A fee for all the years lies between 105000-101000. The fee is paid on a yearly basis. There are many scholarships programs which are available and even teachers tell the students to take participation into them

Campus Life

There is an annual fest which is conducted by the university(IPU) named Anugoonj. The college itself also conducts various fests(ex-Tech fest, Music fest, Cultural fest, etc.) All these fests are conducted between Nov-Dec. The library is quite big all the books related to the syllabus are available in large numbers, Other books like (Gk, Encyclopedia, and Cultural Books) are also available Amenities in the classroom are good all the fans and lights work well even if is a problem they are replaced at prior notice.

Admission

Firstly you have to register yourself into the Ipu portal. The application fee when I registered was around 700. Afterward, select your preferred courses which can be more than one(1). Then after registration, the document verification process is done by the university itself. Then the university produces an admit card which will contain center details and the date of examination.

A decent college experience with room for improvment

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and covers most of the imortant subjects needed for our feild.It provides a good foundation and helps in understanding the basics clearly. many topics are for real world application can also help in further studies.However the curriculum could be improved by adding more practical sessions real projects and updated industry oriented content. Some subjects feel a bit theoritical so more hands on learning would make cource stronger. The exam schedule is manageable with internal external and internal assessments held at regular intervals. The difficulty level of exam is modrate and we students can perform well with study.Overall curriculam is decent but can become more comprehensive with few updates.

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

I applied for Maharaja Surajmal Institute as it's known as the SRCC of GGSIPU and it has the highest placement packages in comparison to any other Colleges of GGSIPU and it is ranked the top college of GGSIPU so I opted for admission here and no I didn't get rejected from any universities I got admitted to the one I wanted it's just that you require alot of patience and need to be active about the admission forms being out and all. To get admission in the BBA program at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, a student must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks, with English as one of the core, elective, or functional subjects. Admission is primarily conducted through the IPU CET exam held by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. However, students can also be admitted through CUET if their name appears in the merit list and their rank is below 500. Based on the CET or CUET rank, candidates are called for counseling where seats are allotted.
