- The thing is if we want to go to our home we should get signatures and permission from many incharge teachers.
- We are not allowed to go out of the campus when we wish to. We can go only with teachers or hostel warden.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The number of faculties are quite high. Most of the teachers are highly educated professionals. There are about 50 to 60 students are in a class. There are 2-semester exams in a year run by University. Apart from that there are many frequently occurring series of examinations run by the college itself to improve the performance of students. Hard work brings success. The more you study, the more you could score. The exam is quite easy if you are ready to study. Till now I've passed every single exam conducted by both University and College.
Internships Opportunities :
I am a first-year student. This year in the month of May I did my first internship. It was for around 20 days. 6 of us did our internship in Ernakulam. The rest of our batchmates did their internships in other companies all over Kerala. Our seniors did internships outside Kerala too. It was a wonderful experience.
Placement Experience :
For those who complete their bachelor's degree without any back paper, their job is 100 percent assured. Also, those students with only a few back papers have also a good chance of campus placements. In the year 2022, the first-year students got a job offer letter just after 2 months of class. Luckily I was one of them. Presently campus placements are taking place in the civil branch and more than 50 percent of the students got their job offers.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Expect for NRI students there are different scholarships for both students having merit and management seats. While coming to placements, most of the students who pass out from college get into various companies through campus placements. Various scholarships are available for those students who secured good marks in class 12 examinations.
Campus Life :
Day by day the college is trying its best to increase the infrastructure. Campus Life is best here. There are well-equipped lab facilities arts and sports clubs, etc. Students are frequently appearing in the tech fests conducted by our college as well as other colleges. It has a well-managed library that has a wide range of textbooks and guides. Apart from studying the college also provides room for extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities :
A room consists of 3 beds that can accommodate 3 students from the same batch. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the hostel. Compared with other hostels that I have stayed in this one is the best. It provides a personal shelf for each student and a private study space. 3 beds are placed in such a manner that each one of us could do whatever in the room without disturbing the other. The food is very good. All Thursdays we get biriyani in the evening. 3 days a week we get chicken. 5 days we get fish. At evening 4.00 we get tea and a small snack to eat. The mess fee is quite affordable which is 4000 rupees per month
Admission :
The college has 3 types of seats. Merit seats, management seats, and NRI seats. Merit seats are filled by students who scored high rank and marks in the KEAM entrance examination. The fees for these students will be 15k to 20k per semester. Management seats are filled by those students who have registered for the KEAM exam but couldn't qualify for the examination or those who got low ranks and marks in the entrance. The fee structure of these students will be anywhere from 30k to 35k per semester. NRI seats are filled by those students who did not appear for the KEAM entrance examination or belong to any other state other than Kerala, or students who came from a different country. These students sometimes have to pay a small amount of donation during the time of admission. Those students have to pay about 50k to 60k per semester.
