Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to study law. The faculty is good they are religiously devoted to the course and establish a good relationship with students. Most teachers are either Ph.D. or pursuing it. Two mid-semester tests are conducted and one final at the end of every semester.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internships at Chandigarh high court under senior lawyers they teach so much about the practical life of advocates. Law firms come every year and conduct their exams to select students for corporate internship and stipend is not paid to them.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is quit high as compared to the study quality. The scholarship is available on the basis of 12th board score. And CUCET exams are conducted every year and upto 100% scholarship is granted. Placement is very good not especially for law but other courses. Research opportunities are provided to students completely funded by the university.
Campus Life
Every year CU Fest happens in the month of February. Aghaz is conducted for freshers every year in the month of September. And also book fests. The central library has all the books and important journals of good researchers. The main campus is really heaven in terms of infrastructure. The Food Republic is the campus canteen its really cool and the main ground and basketball courts are beautiful. Classes are spacious with AC and comfortable seats and every class has a projector. For anybody who wants to go to the Olympic games, CU provides a platform them sports complex has all the facilities. Every department has its clubs. Dance, music, painting, etc. Clubs and legal aid society. Moot court society it's fun to work there.
Admission
No such entrance test. Just registered and got the admission. you just have to pass the 12th board exam to be eligible. Cu has its official website and there all the information including the form can be found easily. I want that CU should keep Some eligibility criteria for admission and take interviews or exams before admitting students.
