Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for B.Tech in Information Technology. The ratio is 60:1 and the faculty members are very very helpful. The teaching is top notch and all the faculty members are available for help 24/7. The college has now become autonomous and the course structure has become more IT-oriented. The exams conducted were in sync with Mumbai University exams and they were pretty easy to pass for someone who has properly attended lectures.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities here are great. The stipend usually ranges from role to role. It is usually 5k to 18k per month. The college supports placements actively. A variety of companies are called for the same.
Placement Experience
Usually students become eligible for placements in the third year. Companies like TCS, Capgemini, JIO, Wipro, etc visit here. The highest package is 25 lakhs and the average package is 7 lakhs/year. Almost all the students get placed in good companies.I on the other hand want to go for Master's.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is okay. As the campus is Ac equipped and has a game zone etc. The campus provides financial assistance and scholarships. The job placements here are above average. Everything here is pretty great.
Campus Life
The life here on campus is amazing. Various clubs and communities are there to keep you busy and you can always find a club that suits your interest. Verve is the annual fest here and it's great. The classrooms are AC-equipped. There's a game zone and gymnasium.
Admission
The admission process was very smooth. You need to appear for MHTCET to taking admitted to this college. I got admission through cap round and availed the OBC scholarship. I scored 94 percentile to get admission for the same. You can find all the details on the official website of VIT.
