Remarks

The college provides Every facilities required for the students but for hostel students it is difficult to eat mess food. So improving hostel food by quality would be Much more better

Entrance Preview

I took K CET exam organized by the Karnataka State board and got some ranking in it which helped me get into this institute. There was no things like interview and all but documents verification was mandatory. I heard a lot of positive things about the college so I chose this college and the course

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which I chose is somewhat good and challenging. I learnt a lot of practical things during the course and came to know of real world problems. Teachers are always involved in research activities and they also help students learn beyond the syllabus

Internships Opportunities

The college won't search you an internship but you need to search a company or an industry and inform college about that and later the college provides you a permission letter for the internship.

Placement Experience

Placements: 100% placements are assured. Placements are extremely good and everyone will get placed. Average package is 7 LPA for the last year's batch of our department. All core and IT companies will come for placements. The highest package in our college is 50 LPA.

College Events

The college provides an opportunity to work with other college students during fests and other co curricular activities and events. The college also encourages the students to participate in many of the sports activities and the college has been hosting many such events in past few years.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is good and is affordable by a common man. Students entering through CET will pay 58000 and students entering through comed-k will pay 1.58 lakhs as a nominal fee. I think the fees amount is not too high when compared to other colleges in Bangalore

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides large number of scholarship for students. SC ST students get a scholarship amount of nearly 45000 and the OBC category students get a scholarship of around 20000 .

Campus Life

The college support students to take up extra curricular activities like Kannada rajyotsava, NSS, blood donation camp, Fest, and NCC and many more so that the students are connected to external world

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are quite good, when compared to other college hostels in Bangalore. The hostel food is ok to some extent. The cleanliness is maintained both in college and the hostel. There is nothing to worry about if you are planning to join MSRIT

Alumni/Alumna

Basically this is the main drawback because in my 2 years in this college I have never seen students interacting with alumni people as they are busy and never have time for students

Exam Structure

The exams are usually held during Jan and even sem exams will be held during June. There is nothing to worry about the exams because the exams will be held every alternate days and we get ample of time to study. The lab exams will be planned systematically so that students don't face any difficulties

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Good ranking of college among other private colleges of India
Best location of college in the silicon valley of India
Various opportunities of internship to students

Campus area of the college is less than expexted
Conditions of hostels and mess is not good
Teachers and professors are not good in explaining concepts to students

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I had also applied for RV College of Engineering but i got admission in M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Technology as i got the seat in this college during KCET allotment due to cutoff and rank variation i could not get it. RIT gives admission to students who belong to states other than Karnataka through the exam COMEDK. The eligibility of the course is minimum 65% in 12th grade and meeting the respective cutoff of the course you want to pursue.The application form can be found on the website www.comedk.org in the month of Jan or feb. The application fees of COMEDK is 1500 rupees. COMEDK exam is conducted once in the year on a given fixed date decided by the examination authorities.There are two shifts in the exam morning shift from 9 am to 12pm and evening shift from 2pm to 5pm. COMEDK asks 180 single choice questions out of which 60 are of physics 60 from chemistry and 60 of mathematics .COMEDK has a defined syllabus generally of 11th and 12th class.The questions asked in COMEDK range from easy to medium difficulty level.COMEDK does have negative marking scheme it gives +1 for correct answer and 0 for wrong answer....Read More
