I like these peaceful atmosphere in our college
There sports authorities are very active in students future
And their teachers very friendly to everyone

Dislikes

Placement opportunities in our college is very poor and the college must focus on this area.
There are not internship facilities as well in our college
distance education mode college there are no placement facility provided for students studying in distance education institute.

The reason is why I take this course is I would like to learn English and increase my speaking skill. That will be very helpful to get the best job in any company and when going abroad this is very helpful. The first time I gave admitted to Delhi University for an LLB course but I couldn't so I gave admission to the BA course also I dreamed to study it.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 3160 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very reasonable, Rs.500 admission fees, approx. 3000 for a 1-year course fee plus an additional Rs.500 in total for matriculation fees, recognition fees, etc. The Fee structure would be made available once the admission notification is out. For scheduled tribe and scheduled caste students, there are scholarship facilities provided by University, UGC, and other government agencies.

Campus Life

There are no extra-curricular activities provided by the college for distance education students, the college must work for that. But as the college is not regular, there are no extracurricular activities. The gender ratio is almost equal. Books are provided by the college.

Admission

The student must score 45% in their 10th SSLC exam and plus two exams or HSE of the Kerala States board in order to be accepted into this three-year course. Calicut University SDE charges rs .1545 per semester for distance BA courses.

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students
