Course Curriculum Overview
The course is good and very affordable and which is why I choose this course. Exams are conducted semester wise. Exam difficuly level is decent. Approximately 80 percent of students pass semester exams.
Placement Experience
Mostly GIS companies vivit our college. Highest package in my college is 3 LPA. Average package in my college is 2.4 LPA. Approximately 65% of students get placement. I choose higher studies after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
During my time this degree was of three years. Then total fee was approximtely RS. 6500. But now the degree is of four years. Now total fee is approximately Rs. 10000. The fee is increasing year by year. Eligible candidates can get Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means (SVMCM) scholarship. The amount of this scholarship for my course is Rs. 12000 per year.
Campus Life
College has a big campus and it is surrounded by greenery. It has a playground. Tournaments are held there. Cultural fests are held in my college. Students can access books from library by taking permission.
Admission
I choose this college over other colleges because it matched my expectation and eligibility. One can take admission in my college on the basis of marks in Higher Secondary. One has to apply in college portal. Then the college releases a merit list. If one find his/her name in the merit list he/she can take direct admission in my college.
Faculty
The faculties in my department are well educated and knowledgeable. They are helpful and approachable. Exams are conducted by Calcullta University in every semester. Exam difficulty is moderate. 80% of students can pass the exams.
Night Life
Wifi, library, common room and computer labs are available. My college has a hostel which is "Baruni Devi Chatravas". There is a lake near the college. One can roam around at night by taking nessary safety measures.
