Remarks

My admission was through comedk entrance exam and I got my college on the basis of my rank. There are reservation benefits for Karnataka students. This application form is available at Google and the application fee is 1200

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because this is the current most demanding field for engineering and also it is considered the safest job for women. The faculty are good and maximum have a PhD in their field and many are also pursuing research.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 222000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester we are eligible for placement. There are around more than 250 + companies which come to our college and the highest package was 56 lpa and the average was 12-14 lpa .almost 96% of students get placed from cse department.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are more for non-Karnataka students. The government gives scholarship to students who are not able to fulfil the fees of college and also some more scholarships are also provided to only girl child

Campus Life

The most common fest in our college is technieks. The books and journals are easily available at the library and students can issue two books at a time. There is a diamond Jubilee sports complex, where sports can be played.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
