What Students Say

Likes

Things that I liked is teaching methods, good understanding of the field in industry. Giving proper guidance to the students so that they can be more confident and skills althat they are acquiring.
The campus is s great amd also have a canteen for the lunch.
The overall experience is great with the college. Had my best days there.

Dislikes

Things that I disliked is that there are no places to seat outside the campus when some outsider visit college for exam .
The toilets should be more cleaned and well furnished.
The classes must have ducting facilities in the summer as it warms a lot in classes in summer season.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is up to date. The things that they were teaching are ongoing technical knowledge-based and as per industry with the respective branches. The faculties are experienced and also a good guide when teaching. The teachers and students often get in connected. Also, each student is provided with the teacher's guardian. The teachers are Ph.D. holders in their fields. The teaching includes both theoretical and practical approaches to make things more understandable. The term exam is strict with all rules and regulations.

Internships Opportunities

The fendal software company had visited the college with the package of 7 lakhs per annum for the role of Web developer. Also, the company tcs visited with the package of 10 lakh per annum for the post of a junior software developer.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tcs, Wipro, and Accenture are the companies that have visited majorly in the college. The highest package received on the campus was 18 lakhs per annum. The highest package is mostly up to 15 lakhs per annum and the minimum is 3-4.5 lakhs per annum. 85% of the total strength in a particular classroom gets placed. My first approach will be to get placed in a reputed company where I can apply my skills and knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of course are decent. The scholarship is available for each category of students. Apart from that the reserved category benefitted from financial support. Mahadbt scholarship is granted to the students. The campus placement is great with a really good package and opportunities.

Campus Life

Technotsav is an annual fest which is conducted every year in the month of April. The books are available in the library regarding all the required subjects for each branch. The classes are well and good. Extracurricular activities are conducted every month and every student can take part in it. The college also supports sports activities for the students. IEEE and FEETA are student forums.

Admission

Eligibility for the course was JEE and mht cet entrance exam. The admission was based on the cut-offs in the respective branches. The information regarding the application form, application fees, and application dates is available on the college website and also can be taken from the college itself. The reservation benefits are there according to the category of the students and also scholarship is available. The admission process is good.

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. i had to choose this college over other colleges because i couldn't qualify the cap round as i didnt score that well in mhtcet and jee and for the score i scored i got admission here in the desired course that i wanted and i also took reviews from diffrent family members and friends about this college and got a pretty positive response like the faculties here are good and experienced which made me take admission in this college.if i compare this college to other big colleges in nagpur like ramdeobaba ycc or vnit it's pretty average but still provides the best they can provide i really wish they could work on companies which come here so that the placements salaries increase and the technical faculties to teach more industry level stuff than the old eduaction system stuff.The admission process here was not that hard you just have to score a specific score in mhcet and according to that score you'll get admitted to any course which is eligible for you if you didnt score good enough spot admissions and donation process is there for which you have to pay extra of course.the cutoffs doesnt go that high here for 2024 batch cse cutoff was 85% and for AI ML and AI DS it was 82% which is pretty decent....Read More

The all you need to know about faculty and facilities

When I was seeking colleges the cutoff of this college was 80%ile int common entrance test ( cet ) for computer science engineering department (cse). And I got admission in OBC quota I got some benefits due to reservation as my 45% fees are paid by government. The admission process was very long as it took almost a day to complete the whole process and the public management is quite bad here . The area of improvement is to give some facilities like coolers and fresh cold water to drink and also the strictness should be lessen and make less frequency of exams as it increases the mental stress of Students.
