Course Curriculum Overview
Because I wanted to choose a course in CS. The faculty-student ratio is about 1/80. All the faculties are highly qualified and have done their Ph.D. in either IITs or some excellent foreign universities. There are 2 exams - 2-semester exams and 1 end semester exam per semester. Just passing a course in DAIICT is very easy. Anyone studying for a week can easily crack the exam.
Internships Opportunities
There are excellent internship opportunities. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Sprinklr, DE Shaw, and Goldman Sachs visit the campus all with a stipend of greater than 1 Lac. There are a lot of group projects to be performed during the course of the curriculum.
Placement Experience
The placements of DAIICT are one of the best parts of this college. There are many opportunities for the student to showcase their skills. There are many Tech Giants visiting this college like Google, Microsoft, Sprinklr, DE Shaw, and banks like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc. The placement percentage is 100%. My future plan is to get a placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fee hike policy in DAIICT i.e. the fees of the student registering in year 'x' will remain the same throughout his/her program. There are various scholarships such as MYSY, CMSS, and others.
Campus Life
There are 2 major fests conducted in DAIICT. The annual fest in DAIICT is Synapse. It is conducted in the month of March. Some of the famous celebrities come here during this fest. There are coding competitions here as well during the fest. The tech fest here is i. Fest. This fest also conducts different coding competitions. Any type of book you want is available in the RC i.e. Resource Center here in DAIICT. There is a football ground, TT room, Badminton court, Basketball ground and other sports facilities in DAIICT.
Admission
For ICT Honours with Minors in computational science course, the cutoff for JEE Main is around 8500 AIR and for the GUJCET exam, the cutoff is around a rank of 60 out of 40,000 students. For application through JEE i.e. All India Category, you need to fill up the form available on the online portal of the college itself. And for admission through ACPC i.e. GujCET, you need to register on the ACPC site. The admission process is smooth and fast.
