Remarks

The admission process is quite flexible and mostly done in online mode. One can take admission either based upon their JEE ran for which a shortlisting is done as per the All India Rank or another way is 10+2 merit-based admission for which eligibility is 60% marks in any recognised state board e.g. CBSE, ICSE etc. All the information regarding the application form, fees and dates is easily available on Jaypee University Of Information Technology's official website under the Admissions section.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am quite pleased with my Electronics and Communication curriculum followed here at JUIT. The faculty members are very well experienced and educated about their respective fields and always ready to help and motivate the students to aim higher. Faculty: Student ratio here is approximately 1:30. The faculty is well qualified, and most of the professors are PhD. Term exams are conducted thrice every 6 months (per semester) at a gap of around 2 months each. They are not very hard to pass but at the same time equally challenging.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible from the 7th semester for campus placements. Some of the key recruiters are HCL, Hashdin, Cognizant, ZS Associates etc. and the total offers made for the last batch of 489, making it 146% of students getting placed. The highest package offered by Amazon of 32LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was initially a fee difference since we switched from online mode to offline mode of college, and since then it has been consistent. The overall fee (as per my 3rd year) was a sum of 1,60,000 for hostel and mess charges altogether and 2,20,000 for the tuition fee. The fee is affordable in my opinion.

Campus Life

La Fiestus is the biggest annual fest held here, It is a 3-day fest where multiple artists, singers and bands come together to make it a success. It is usually conducted in April or May. Many more such events like Diksha (fresher's party), Murious (Technical fest), Dhun (musical nights) etc. are conducted often on campus. Sports is a well-accomplished domain of our college, we have the best teams, coaches and grounds to play and conduct tournaments like semester sports tournaments (intra-college) and Parakram, a 3-day sports tournament where participants join from different colleges/universities.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are well furnished and have all the required basic amenities provided in them. Mess food is tasty and nutritious along with a variety of choices every month, as the menu changes every month. Registration for hostel and mess is done altogether at the time of admission only and as mentioned, it is quite affordable.

Why to get IIIT UNA in 2025

Placement Experience:

the placemts of my college is just average about 12 lakhs average package and 30 lakhs max this year but max is 60 lakhs p.a. from 7th sem students starts to get placements and got eligible the companies visited are amazon,flipkart , enfosys and many more'' the percentage of the students getting placed is about 80% till now my plans are to get on acmpus placement the best i can get

The campus offers a decent number of placements for the students with the companies and average package here is of ?8-9 lakhs per annum and the highest package given was ?25 lakhs. The campus also provides the way for the students to go for off campus placements too.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester. Some of the big tech giants visit us like google , Microsoft, Oracle, Samsung, Texas Instruments, Uber, Paytm, walmart, Flipkart, amazon, etc. Offers made in 2022-23 are more than 150 where company count was more than 70. Highest package is around 63 LPA (INDIA) whereas more than 1 CR (Out of India). Average package is around 33 LPA in 2022-23. Almost 80%+ students sitting in placement gets placed (according to 2022-23 data). My plan is to join tech firm either as SDE or Data Scientist.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum in electrical is very practical and real-life based. in real-life applications, we have to do LAB courses and research seminars with good professors. some courses are very helpful like Electrical Machines, Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, Electromechanics, Control Systems, Power Systems, Design Practicum, etc. We learn a lot of things from the above Courses. we have to learn that type of course which is based on electrical engineering but our college teaches us some HSS courses like English, Basic Communication skills, psychology and economics. for improvement in teaching methods colleges should take all classes in offline mode not in online mode because in it students can't understand. There are majorly two exams in our college Midsem and Endsem. endsem is more difficult compared to Midsem.

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements.
