Course Curriculum Overview

Masters of computer application has a wide range of opportunities so I opted for this course. The student: faculty range is good and the faculty are knowledgeable and supportive and employ effective teaching methods.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college offered diverse internship opportunities with renowned companies. Roles offered included Software development and research. Stipends were provided, and many interns received pre-placement offers.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements in the second semester itself. Around 70% of students got placed. Despite the recession, I secured two offers. My plan is to gain valuable experience and contribute to the industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the government seat through PGCET were approximately 85,000 per year. I received the SSP scholarship, which provided financial assistance. On campus, I secured a job with an acceptable stipend.

Campus Life

Life on campus is vibrant, with active social life and clubs. The library has abundant books and journals. The classrooms are well-equipped. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged, Though good, areas for improvement exist.

Admission

The admission process was smooth. I took the PGCET exam and met with the cut-off. Eligibility was a relevant undergraduate degree. I found the fees and dates on the college website. No reservation benefits were availed. Improvements could include clearer instructions and timely updates. I got a seat with fees of 27k(college) and 58k(government).

A good start for career growth

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

My MCA Life : The Real Experience

Placement Experience:

Students were allowed for placement from the final year. Only a few firms came and offers were limited. Avg pay was low and not many got placed. After MCA , my plan was to look for roles in tech and grow my skills.

Placements are good...lot of my friends got placed. But it even depends on individual intrests. At starting you get paid less but later on experience u can earn more. In case if placement doesn't happen you will still have the chance to explore outside.

I chose RNS Institute of Technology because it has a good reputation in Bangalore for engineering, especially for placements and teaching quality. Compared to other colleges I considered, RNSIT offers a good balance of academics, infrastructure, and campus environment. It is also more affordable compared to some private colleges. I had applied to a few other engineering colleges through KCET, but based on my rank and cutoff, I got EEE at RNSIT, which is a good option. The college has better infrastructure and placement opportunities compared to many similar colleges. The admission process was smooth. I got admission through KCET counseling. I applied to a few top colleges in Bangalore like BMSIT and Sir MVIT. I chose RNSIT over them mainly because of its strong reputation for placements, especially in the IT branch, and its green campus. I didn’t get into RVCE or PES because my KCET rank was slightly higher than their cutoffs, which are very competitive. The admission process for RNSIT is straightforward. They accept KCET and COMEDK scores, which are the most preferred exams for students. The eligibility is 45% in 12th PCM.
