I choose this course because of the qualified professor. The student-faculty ratio is 1:27. There were 3 tests in one semester with different weightage and the difficulty of the exam vary from easy to medium.

Jaypee itself provides placement opportunities I have also done an internship but without a stipend. Companies like Accenture, TCS, Genpact, darwinbox, play simple games, ltmidtree and etc. come to the campus.

Life at JUIT is exciting and fun. There are various cultural and social events conducted by various clubs and societies. JUIT has a humungous library with all types of books and journals. There are various sports events also.

Students were shortlisted on the basis of JEE Mains and 12 class results. The application process was totally online based at that time due to covid. Application fees and application dates were communicated through email by the university.

Placement at JUIT begins from the 7th semester, core branches like cSE see good placements while Bioinformatics has limited on campus opportunities, Most of them opt for higher studies or research roles. I planned to go for job.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Placement Experience:

Opportunities for placements are quite well. Before COVID lots of companies came for placements and post the number of companies was reduced. I want to join a company after getting my degree. I am not interested in higher studies.

Admission:

I prepared for 2 years then cleared jee mains exam. The preparation was not hard though you need to be consistent with your studies. After the result I filled my counselling on jossa.nic.in with the priorities of colleges and branches. After that there were 7 rounds I got my seat in 6th round.

Jaypee university of information technology solan

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More
