I come from a business family. My father is a businessman and I have seen the ups and downs of owning a business and the ability it gives you to help people to sustain their family by providing them jobs. So I choose BCom as I want to be an entrepreneur.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We as students of mit wpu feel that we have a better opportunity for job placement as compared to other colleges. They offer various internship opportunities at college. Also, we are taken for a rural immersion program for the overall development of us and to make us industry ready.

Campus Life

There are various clubs at mit wpu. We are able to apply for various clubs and can become members as well as leaders for that clubs. Also, there are various events held each and every year to make us experience the life of the college.

Admission

We have to give a CBT first. if we qualified in cbt then we have to give a personal interview. If we qualify both cbt and pi then we were selected in the college. The cbt was for 150 marks and we have to score atleast 70% on it

The college is Good

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 students become eligible for campus placement. The companies which visited college are Deloitte, KPMG, Asian paints and some other companies. And most of the students were selected. The average package offered was around 300000 LPA.

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.
