Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is fantastic but the faculties in my first year were very at par the next year the faculties have been nice. The course provides much value to me for me to apply in the real world and provides enough value in return for monetary benefits. I chose this course since I had much interest in accounting and international financial Most of my professors were doctorate Phds or have been teaching for more than 7 to 8 years The visiting faculty may vary differently according to the individual and what cant be decisively said about their education and qualifications

Internships Opportunities

3

In the final year of the course, a 2 month internship is provided through the colleges which gives the students a hint of what their life may be like post-college. The college also provides a one-month corporate readiness program to make students corporate ready

Placement Experience

4

The campus placements are good in the commerce schools in the college cannot comment on other courses due to a lack of knowledge All the big companies like delloite EY douche bank etc approach the college to select and pic, suitable candidates The credibility of MITWPUs placements has slyly rocketed after one of the 4th year students scored a 50.1 lakh per annum package with Google Inc. My plan is to get a job in the city till the time I am financially stable to pursue further studies in IIMs for MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for my course seems just adequate and in accordance with fees in other colleges in Maharashtra assuming the level and quality of the colleges are near similar. The college provides sports quotas and other various quotas I am a regular student and do not have much knowledge about the scholarships Financial assistance is provided in the form of reservation seats like most colleges in the city The college has placements and placement criteria for job opportunities where the cutoff is around 8.5cgpa

Campus Life

2.5

Life on campus is good since our campus is considerably bigger the most colleges in Pune and hence provides a lot to do along with basketball courts and libraries to study in with wifi in the library The clubs in the colleges are a great way to get extracurriculars but the leadership of all clubs is highly political and a sense of nepotism can be felt from all the clubs whether they are social sports businesses or charity

Admission

Eligibility for my course was 12th pass with a minimum of 60%. The applications were available on the online website of MITWPU where the applications were open. I just had to navigate my desired course and select it Fill an application form along with application fees and I was ready to be eligible for the entrance exam. The entrance exam was 100 mark questions and the passing was 70/100 eith subjects involving maths logical thinking English etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very good on paper. University has given like 8 subjects from which we have to choose 5. But this college itself chooses 5 subjects and students now have to learn only them ... Like in 3rd year sem 5 there was subject international finance I wanted to study that because baf course is all about finance but the college had subject management. So yeah be prepared for this. My colleges reputation is not that great because other city students come too. So for about teaching it's average

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.
