- Must visit Lord Vishwanath Temple.The atmosphere is calm & pleasant.VT's cold coffee samosa and dosa are very famous.
- Central Library is student friendly study zone. Lots of books collections are available.
- Health centre is available for students. Free treatment and checkup is done there.Medicines are available.Well educated doctors.
Dislikes
- Buildings are too old. Maintenance is needed.Not much facility of technical equipments. But classrooms are so big with many windows.
- Campus is neat and clean. But when you return after vacation it is full of dust.Benches and desks are not wiped.
- Sometimes students remain not notified about schedule of examination and other events unless they are enrolled through social groups.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opt for English honors. English faculty is brilliant at this university. All professors are well-educated and experienced. The course is updated and the syllabus is not too vast. The teaching method is easy and comprehensible. Term exams are taken on time. You can prepare by reading the whole syllabus. Previous papers are also available on the basis of which you can score good marks. Class lectures are compulsory.
Internships Opportunities
Internship programs are available for technical and vocational courses. I'm a student of the Arts Faculty with English honors so I do have not much idea about interns and companies. But NCC and NSS are available in college through which you can represent yourself. Also, internships related to Interviews are provided to students by skilled professors. Sometimes News and Political representative also come here for student sessions.
Fees and Financial Aid
Bhu all faculty courses are available at affordable prices. For B.A. honours it costs about 2000 per year which is easily manageable. only tuition fee is considered. All other fees are exempted. The scholarship is also available for students. Campus also provides paid part-time official work for poor students.
Campus Life
Bhu Campus hosts cultural programs and an annual fest per year. Saraswati puja and Janmashtami are celebrated in the MMB campus and all other hostels with great pleasure. Dance programs are held by students based on the Krishna radha theme & dandiya party the whole night. Malviya g Birthday is celebrated with puspa mela & jhanki.Holi is also celebrated with too much fun. Sports events are organized in Campus Auditorium. There is a Big ground of MP Theatre for sports practice. Indoor and outdoor games are played there. many other grounds are also for practice surrounded by greeneries. Various sports events such as the Khelo India games are also organised. There is a big central Library with proper ventilation. The cyber library is provided with an AC facility.No of ancient and modern books collections are available relevant to courses. One percent of clubs and many other clubs are run by students. The campus life of BHU is awesome.
Admission
I took admission through the entrance exam. My score was 242. Cut off is more than 200. Addmission-related details are available on the official site of BHU. Counseling is done after providing a Call letter. There are also reservation benefits categories. All professors who are available for counseling are helpful.
