Coding culture is very good every student is good at it
There are plenty of clubs to choose from

Dislikes

Hostel. 3 students share a single room which is very small
Sports facilities are very poor. Gym is very poor
Campus is bad most of it inaccessible jungle

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is at par with IITs. There is 1 faculty for every 40 students. Most of the faculties are well qualified and have done their PhD from top IITs and have many research published. Exams were between the semester and the end semester. Exams are easy to pass

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are very poor only 9,10 companies visit campus for internships. But most students get off-campus internships like drdo, isro, slice etc. Some are research internships and some are developing roles.

Placement Experience

More than 90% of students get placed. Many companies visit for placement like Amazon etc. The highest package offer is 51 lac. For 511 students 652 offers were made for different roles like development, management, content writing etc,

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very high and it increases by 10% every year. There are many scholarships provided by colleges and the government. Merit cum means scholarship, BPL scholarship, financial assistance against work in Library and labs.

Campus Life

Vivacity is an annual cultural fest and it is conducted in March. The plinth is a tech fest conducted in January. Desportivos is a sports fest conducted in February. Infrastructure is poor but a work in progress. Campus life is very poor.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is mandatory for every student. Every hostel room has chair, study table, fan, duct. Meal quality is very good. There are variety of options to choose from and there is separate food for Jains. Overall very good

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

Admission is based on JEE Mains score. The admission form can be found on the official site of lnmiit. Admission is done by college level counselling. There is no reservation. The initial fees asked before counselling is very high.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Life at Manipal -More than just a college experience

Placement Experience:

the college provide good placement and internship opportunities and the average package stays around 12-13 lpa , almost 80% students get campus placement in good companies and the exams and eligibility process is very simple - just maintain the good cgpa with good commincation skills

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

If you look by placements numbers you will find this good but if you look by placement ratio then it's crucial I would say because only in first year hey have 8000 new admissions and last year they had 2000 placements

I applied to Thapar, IIIT Kota, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Bhopal and BITS Pilani. Thapar has very large batch size so I did not chose it. IIIT Kota does not has a permanent campus so I rejected it, for IIIT Sonepat there has been a decrease in its value from previous decade so I rejected it. I got rejected from BITS Pilani due to low score in BITSAT. Admission process is good, only JEE Mains scores are considered and some Rajasthan Board toppers quota is there. I applied for amrita vishwa vidyapeetam coimbatore, VIT vellore and Lnmiit. I didn't get any rejection from any college. I applied for Jaypee college noida , Manipal University except lnmiit . I got confirmed admission in Jaypee . I chose lnmiit as it is ranked higher and also have a better reputation than those and is also tougher to get in . I didn't make it other colleges as my scores fell short .
