Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is implemented based on the jntu regulations as the college is affiliated to jntu-hyderabad. The faculty that the college has enormous experience in their respective departments.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The state government provides merit scholarships for students who are lacking money or are unable to pay the college fee. The fee structure is 150000 at present and will be increased by the state government after a certain period.

Campus Life

The campus is equipped with good infrastructure like good operating systems for Cse-department, digital classrooms and a friendly atmosphere. There are a few clubs or groups in the college but fests are very rare

Admission

Eligibility for the course is through ts-eamcet which is a common entrance examination conducted by the state board. The minimum rank required for an oc candidate to get a seat in the computer science and engineering branch is below 5000 and for an Obc candidate would be

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.

See yes during my EAPCET councelling I don't know about this cvr college of engineering, its infrastructure, greenary , courses , placements . Were the first college is got is geetanjali college of engineering, but almost after such research I saw that it is not better than cvr college so for the second round i changes and make it to cvr .
